the 2nd one was good too. they lost me on number 3, that's when the comedy started getting uncontained- Chucky DOES wisecrack in the first two but only barely, it ain't every 20 minutes
@TheLarryburns84 I actually did like the third one. Bride was not my style but it was decent enough for what it was, but the franchise should have been done after Bride.
For an 80’s Slasher flick this actually sounds really beautiful. Just a shame that Seed of Chucky exists because I feel like Chucky as a character is one of Cinema’s greatest horror icons.
I would not consider the original Chucky (an by the original, I mean the first movie) a slasher film. That is the path Mancini took with the sequels. For me this one is a stand alone horror tale.
@hypnouser1 That’s honestly pretty fair. Like you said, it’s more like a genuine horror story that just so happens to have an antagonist that uses a knife as a weapon. I guess it technically kinda fits in the genre but the sequels definitely placed themselves in there. For better or for worse.
@@johndogscorner9631 It is something that has happened in other IP, like Resident evil. When the original one was an unofficial remake of the game SWEET HOME, but with Alone in the Dark traits (making it a hounted house game) , the other ones are more action flicks, with horror elements (this is more notorious after RE4)
I know I'm gonna get hate for saying this but I feel like this was one of those movies regardless of how successful it was it didn't necessarily need any sequels but don't get me wrong I'm not saying anything bad about the sequels
@@t_man7259 Well if they had stayed roughly within the level of the original 3, like Elm Street-- I woulda LOVED it to stick around. ESPECIALLY this first one, with it's genuine psychological dapplings.
this track itself has a very childish look but quite promising! the feeling is there andy barclay had already lost his childhood. that's why it was one of the last tracks of the movie I liked. congratulations

The Child's Play franchise of today has fallen so far from its glory of 1988. This film was a true horror tale, a masterpiece.

in 1988, a legend was born
Just imagine chucky came out In the late 70s with Michael
One of 80's best end credit soundtracks.
Yes. Sounds uplifting, almost heavenly, yet it's so terrifying in telling us just how much trauma Chucky put Andy through. And he was only 6.
Mr. Renzetti´s a freaking genius
a most unusual end credit score :)
Nostalgia pura ❤️
This theme is sad isn't?

Esta música es de la primera película de Chucky versión antigua. Me encanta esta música. Me relaja mucho.
I love this music so much and it's my favorite. 🥰😍🤩☺❤👍✌

I like Child's Play 2
2019 over SoC anyday
I actually enjoyed the reboot one.
Child’s Play 2 literally smacked wdym
Universal should've waited until 1998 to make a Child's Play 3.
I would rap to this version of the instrumental. The sped up tempo makes this more iconic to listen, IMO
seed and bride killed his character
That’s awesome 👏🎵
Quite chilling.
This Is A Very Old Horror Movie.

The blue ray that I got at Walmart has this theme on the main menu screen.
EVERYTIME I watch this and hear the ending theme all I think of is….
“And me DJ MF Paul, the king of the MF M Town and it’s going down, hypnotize mind ho”
He’s your friend to the end
"This IS the end, friend!"

Can't find this on iTunes
The closest I can find on music streaming is the unsed remake version
Chucky is a living child's doll possessed by the soul of a serial killer
That's right.

Out of pitch!!!
at least it's the actual song, chill.
That’s because it’s PAL speed which runs 4% faster than NTSC. If you download this and lower the speed 4% in Audacity you get the normal version.
This is the best version.
Chill dude
