    Thanks for the budget pep talk. I've been sitting here catching up the last 2.5 months of budget from my anxiety levels just being through the roof and I needed it.

      @@RetireWithLess entries are entered. Comp died before I got it balanced and ready for this month, we are eating down the pantry this week, and hopefully Fidelity finally releases the money I transferred on the 21st in time to not have late payments or anything bounce (It was Novembers bill money). Was hoping they would let it go after the election but they said it would clear the 13th the last time I talked to them on the phone. They have been fine on the investment side, but a checking account there has been very hiccupy.

    Mint mobile/$15/month per phone has been awesome for me. Yes, it was a huge pain to move over but I'm saving $250/yr over my old plan. If you mostly use WIFI it's perfect.
    Love your content through the years! Your perspective is so on point and you inspire many to dig in, learn and make money on a smaller account- priceless!

      Xfinity has a similar plan for $25 per month/line, but it is unlimited everything. Thanks for watching after my long break!

    Nice overview of support and resistance levels and how you approach selling options on SOXL. Budgeting is so important even for those that make significant amounts of money 💰. My best friend is a doctor and at times has lived way beyond his means and he makes a ton.

      Yup one has to know where the money goes otherwise you are lost. Thanks Rich!

    Thanks again for introducing me to these leveraged ETFs. Selling puts on them has been working very well for me. My wife and I keep track of our spending too. And, I totally agree with you, mostly spending within our budget has made inflation hardly noticeable.

    Aloha, I am working in the central valley CA right now, beautiful weather, great scenery but Dam, food and Gas is expensive. You do a great job with your budget. Another great video. Thanks

      Very cool! Yeah the weather right now is absolutely perfect, the summers are brutal though. But yes gas and food are pretty ridonculous! Thanks Joe!

    Hi Gerry.. That was interesting on buying your puts. Nothing I would do, but I like to see how the bratwürst is made. I observe the elections but it doesn't matter much either way to me. Over the last 4 years my portfolio has done very well. I don't go into panic mode. Glad you are doing something that helps me live in the manner to which I have become used to. I think of you every time I cash my SS check. :)

    SOXL is only risky if you do not like or want to own the underlying….same as a leveraged version of QQQ or the S&P, if you think those are risky you probably don’t like the non leveraged versions.

    Oh, and what kind of shoes did you buy?

    • @RetireWithLess
      @RetireWithLess  Месяц назад +1

      Hokas, pricey! Can’t say they are totally worth it but it did actually help my back pain more so than my feet so I’ll take it!

    • @GoingGreenMom
      @GoingGreenMom Месяц назад +1

      @RetireWithLess rofl, yeah, I get it. Dr said get better shoes or you are looking at Xrays and a CT scan to see what's wrong with your foot and make sure the breaks healed okay. You are vote about 17 for hokas as it were. Lol. And for what it's worth, everyone that has been wearing them awhile says they ARE worth the price.

    • @RetireWithLess
      @RetireWithLess  Месяц назад +1

      Yeah I think I was expecting more since I’ve never in my life spent more than $40 for a pair of shoes, so spending over 4 times that much I thought would be like 4 times better 🤣 I’m just cheap!

    • @GoingGreenMom
      @GoingGreenMom Месяц назад +1

      @RetireWithLess lol, yeah, the first pair of boots I bought myself were Dr. Martens for $110 back after I got my first job away from my parents knowing exactly how much was coming in and such.... even required a trip an hour away to the mall to buy. My adult shoe buying has been similar to yours..... 40 bucks or get it on sale so it is close to that. Did that for years with new balance. But was so upset the last time I bought a pair, was almost 150, and they were falling apart in 3 months. But I had needed good shoes and had been putting it off.

    I hope Trump on the Revamp of the education system adds a class on how to do the real things you need in life, like balancing a checkbook, budgeting, saving and taking care of your credit. Enough with the cut your bits and bobs off and you can become a new gender. Teach kid real life skills and respect for each other and the love of your country.
