I started playing WoW in 2006 and was introduced to the game by a co-worker. 18 years later at 60, I'm still playing and love every minute just as much as I did in the beginning. I agree, this video shows what a full WoW movie should look like. Kudos to the authors of this video. Well done!
Because they are still, they have lots of simple as well as repeating patterns and the AI has millions of example photos of which to get fitting set pieces from. AI generated footage is most noticable where there are moving and ether complex patterns, in more than one dimension differing but overlaying surfaces/objects or not by enough source material backed models/physical interactions.
@@Mr911technology Indeed, I bet in few years we will have fully AI generated movies, you'd choose your settings, who you want as actors, sci-fi/action/horror... some more settings and it generates an unique movie each time. People will share the best movies they could generate, next will be shows then video games.
@@clem-hk2di yeah I thought of this too, and also being able to use AI to do continuations of previously cancelled tv series, i know there's a good amount of cancelled series that i'd use it for if it becomes a thing
dude, the way they interpreted the overly bulky and massive shoulders of the original blocky human models by giving him puffy sleeves like at 0:56 and 1:57 is honestly some GENIUS artistic/creative interpretation. I'm amazed.
Ive seen a lot of these AI videos, where it makes the proportions a bit too realistic or compromises too much on the 'feel' of the game. This one is absolutely spot on! It perfectly captures the magic
The blonde girl walking is Kira Songshine. A traveling bread vendor, Im almost certain thats who the AI is creating. A drawing of her in Elwynn was my desktop backround for years, as it reminded me of my earliest memories of traveling in world of warcraft as a kid.
This kind of carried me back to a time when my imagination would jump in and transport me off to Azeroth. Am a fair bit older now and the imagination has died a quite a bit.....this though has given it a good kick start and for just a short time I was back there again. Thanks for putting this together.
Damn, i like the fact that AI can bring some kind of nostalgic feeling to videos, reminds me moments when i have a flashbacks about a old from childhood memory.
The best I’ve seen yet. The attention to detail is phenomenal - the closest to bringing the original to life in as realistic a manner as possible. Bravo!
the opening sequences do something to me that cannot be adequately described. it's bringing to life landscape architecture paintings of 19th century artists, but from locations stored in my memory which are instantly recognisable. it's seeing art re-imagined and brought to life in exactly the way you experience the game when you play it for the first time. a long and drawn out puff of nostalgia from our pipes! it's been said before but i'll say it again, if they were ever able to develop such art into an MMORPG, would we ever but venture forth in azeroth?
Well done again. It brings back memories. The armor of the people and horses looks so good. The poor Defias, former stonemasons of Stormwind, were really badly alienated. A dark stain on the relatively clean record of Stormwind. There was graffiti on one of the barracks here. I couldn't read what it said. "romanes eunt domus"? No, nonsense, but it would still be funny.
Can't wait for us to be able to walk around in virtual worlds as if we were there. This kinda shit will be insane. I give it 10-20 years before VR is literally us traveling in a dream-like state.
Back in Vanilla. I remember one weekend when I was a teenager. I hunkered down and decided to make an Alliance alt on another server. I made a human paladin. And no lie, I almost got him to level 30 in three days. The point is, I had never made a human character at that point and realized how chill Elwynn, Westfall, and Redridge were. But the moment I stepped into Duskwood, man, did the game really change.
They need to make a series out of this. Well written series focusing on a random guy who starts off as "level 1". Just a path from the beginning to the end. Each episode could be like a Quest or something. It'd be crazy
You know what would be a cherry on top of this? Sound effects! Where's the crackling of the fireplace or blacksmith forge? Where's the swoosh of the bellows? Footsteps on dirt/grass?
Those Defias rogue girls sure know how to lay a thirst trap.
Did you lose? Muahahahah!
she can rob me
literally what i was thinking lol
Yeah, why the fuck would anyone leave Elwynn if thats what's in it
I CAN FIX HER!!!
only thing this masterpiece missing is Hogger
And Princess ending a few hardcore characters, when they want to take her collar.
and someone jumping backwards on their brand new horse.
and a naked female NELF dancing in the inn.
AI can't render glorious Hogger
I was looking for Hogger too haha
This is literally what I saw in WoW as a child
This is exactly not when you should use 'literally'.

still do imo

I remember sending in my eye of kilrog and catching a friend in a very awkward situation

Cursed prompt
Hahaha i remember when I was a kid and some girls brought me up to the second floor of Goldshire
STAHP! The moment AI generates that debauchery Slaanesh will be birthed into the universe.
cant stop watching this ive played wow for 20 years this is what I need in my life
The nostalgia hits hard right
that Murloc looked way too friendly xD
It's a trap for sure! 😂
If not friend why friend shaped?

Amazing, this is how a Wow-movie should look like!

I would love to see more of this version of WoW😊

It also reminds Teddy of him 25 thousand hours of WoW-life!
