Your gardens are so beautiful and the night sky was gorgeous. You always look so cute when you’re gardening , I’m covered in sweat and dirt & a frazzled mess.( lol ) hi to Nate & max such a sweet family 🇺🇸🧑🌾
I live in Southeastern Michigan. I love your impromptu evening tours. Michigan sunsets are often so glorious. Your hydrangeas are showstoppers. They certainly need more room and your idea about enlarging their beds is perfect. Our heat wave of almost 100 degree temperatures here are challenging. But my garden is hanging in there. Michigan climate is so fickle. We also have had lots of thunderstorms and high winds this week. Praying for some cooler days so my baby plants can breathe again. Your garden is pretty close to perfection. No wonder the chipmunks, rabbits, raccoons and deer feel so at home there.
I love that you come out to your garden in your dress and barefoot, a true gardener. The garden is exploding with blooms. Especially the hydrangeas and bridal veils. And that sky…amazing colors of the sunset. Thanks for sharing your garden, magical!🪴💐❤️
Your property and garden are so lovely. All that open space is so tranquil. I love all of your beautiful flowers. And oh that stunning sunset. What a blessing ❤ Thank you Jes
Loved your tour!! Nate, as you are filming him...". Here, I'll put that away for you"....well played, Nate...got you off camera..... so you thought....lol!!!!!❤️❤️❤️ You guys are a riot!!!!
I love it when you talk to us while you're gardening! I talk to my gardens. I learned early! I grew up next to one of my grandmas who was an excellent gardener and she always talked to her flowers!♥
Sweet Jes, those plants love all your loving words. Even if they are not your favorite, they know you love them because you take such good care of them. Do you ever feel like Max is a stalker? He's at every window that has a view of you!😅 The Stained Glass hostas and Looking Glass brunera are a perfect complement to each other. Thank you for these peaceful moments.
Loving your pretty flowered tops/dresses. Want to buy some for myself..You're garden is looking really beautiful. Wish spring would last longer. 💚🌿🙌🙌 Enjoy
Love your gardens! Love love love the variegata brunnera 😮 I planted three (don’t remember the type) but it is not doing a thing, it’s so frustrating. Glad you enjoyed the wedding and all your family! The sunset is beautiful.
Jes you Look Adorable in your Dress & Being Barefoot in the Garden! 🤗 My Favorite is the Hydrangea spilling over the wall & your Beautiful Astibille below. Of Course Everything else is Beautiful! Max is the Icing on the Cake @ the End! LOL 😅😅 Too Cute. Love & Hugs from Yuma, Arizona 🤗🩷🩷🌸🌿🪴🍀🌿🌱🌴🌴🌴
When your astilbe turn brown, take a paper plate and cut a slit to the middle, place the stem through the slit so that paint doesn't get on the leaves or house. Spray paint them bright pink or purple or blue. It makes them last till you cut them down in winter. I do that to my hydrangeas too for fall.
Hi Jes🌺 . I enjoyed watching you in the garden all look amazing the hydrangeas and astilbes look amazing also the hostas . Have a great time with your aunts . 🌺🌻🌺
Whispering ‘I can see why your favorite is the variegated’, it’s gorgeous. My feet were hurting every time you walked barefoot on the mulch or rocks 😊. Be safe and stay cool in this heat wave.
I’ve never saw that kind of Brunnera (Variegata )before, l love 💕 it and now I want one too. I see it online under the name Siberian Bugloss . The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their pink dresses but no pictures of the bride and groom or did I miss it ? I absolutely adore 🥰 your big patches of pink and white Astilbe , gorgeousness
It’s true, the deer 🦌 don’t eat the Brennen’s but they sure love hosta. They ate atleast 35. Two adults and two babies decided to make there home in my backyard. It’s fun watching them👍🦌🦌🦌🦌
Jes, I planted some Brunnera for the first time last year and they are struggling. Any pointers for me? They are in dappled shade right now and I have been thinking of moving them closer to the front of the garden to get a little more sun but not sure. Love your garden. You were my inspiration to improve my Hosta garden and now I am obsessed with making it beautiful and adding different varieties of plants in hopes that my garden will one day be as pretty as all of yours.
Jess am new to Brunnera because of you lol. but after a while some of them are black and they seem to be dead, can you give me an idea of what do you think it is going on? thank you kindly.
Sometimes mine do that too if it’s getting too much sun or too much water. I just trim it off. Sometimes it will do that after it blooms too, and once you trim off the spent blooms they sorta rejuvenate. But if it’s getting too much sun or water then it might need moved.
