Yes, he is older now, but he still gives you his best and the band gives you the Maze experience. I pray that he receives his well deserved recognition NOW! He is not in the R&B hall of fame, no grammy's but as he once stated, that was not important to him. He stated that his fans gave him what he needed each time he stepped out on the stage. Yes, he has not put out any new music in years, but who cares? All of his music still sounds good today (2023) and it is yet relevant today. We love him; we love his songs and I repeatedly watch this video. It never gets old.

Glad, happy and very fortunate to have experienced this in my early life and it is still as relevant and refreshing AND sexy today as then...WITHOUT the vulgarity and obscenity of today's s.c. artists....names you forget in an instant, songs you can't even follow EVEN if the lyrics are right in front of you., i.o.w., forgotten once the song is over...very AND truly sad! You only get a "grammy" when you sell out. I had the pleasure to see Frankie Beverly and Maze back in the day in concert back in the 1980's, if I remember correctly, and they never disappointed. As a matter of fact, he was wearing the attire he has on now in this video. During the whole concert later on in the night his clothing was drenched in sweat. He truly gives his all and he is very dedicated to what he does. This is one of the greatest bands to ever exist. Unfortunately, at present, he has lost his voice, but, he still continues on. It actually hurts me to even watch him struggling with a voice that is broken because of his dedication to his craft. His vocal chords has taken a beating for something like 50+ years.
