Can you purchase the stoppers you used ?. Are they a very thin piece of rubber tube that grips the line. I've never seen them before. Great video though, you did a good job explaining everything. Just the stopper I've never seen before.
Thanks for the video, I had bought the same float for that exact same purpose a few months ago but have never normally fished for squids that way and didn’t know the best approach. It was spot on with what I was thinking of trying in some rocky areas.
Anaconda have plenty around the $13 dollar mark. The Rui squid jigs are about that and are pretty nice. Can even get $5 dollar ones. The fancy Shimano ones are around the $24 dollar mark.
Would definitely work in shallow bays around the rocks. Thanks for the clear explanation!
No problems, glad you liked it.

You can buy the stoppers at any store, very cheap and a must have.
Where do you get the stopper from plz
I got it from ace bait and tackle Milperra
Thanks for the tips . May I ask where you get those floats ?
Any fishing tackle store
Great info mate thank you
Nice one mate
That's very helpful mate - many thanks
Not a problem 👌
Without any sinker?
Preferably with a sinker to cast it out further.
Do you use braid on the main line
Yes
So many available jig colours , which ones do you find most successful? Nice job
Pink colour and Green
@@aft-fishing90 thanks. How did that cable tie system through small dead fish work for the squid? Could you move them like the jig under the float?
I let it drift under float as the smell attracts the Squid.

Great minds think alike, glad you liked the video. Hope you get a few squid.
Very good. I've been doing this for a while with reasonable success. At night try the same rig with a lumo jig.
That’s awesome to know, it’s a good rig for squid.
$25 for a squid jig? you're getting robbed
Where can i get them cheaper?
