I was given ketamine in a trauma ICU and I freaked out and tore out my NG tube. it was determined that not giving me valium with the ketamine caused the freak out.

I was given ketamine during my back surgery and it was awful. They said it took about an hour after surgery before I could respond or wake up basically

@@jbt8922 I was switched from PCA dilaudid to drip of ketamine with iv dilaudid and I was up and walking the next day. ive have ketamine infusions for medication resistant depression where they infuse me with over 200 mgs of ketamine and I fall asleep but wake up within 15 minutes. ive been on opiated for 20 surgeries so I have a very high tolerance. I was last month switch from dilaudid to fentalyn. so my upcoming surgery ill prob be on crazy amounts of meds.
