i was bored and kept seeing bonsai forests so i made a planter box and bought a few different plants and got it all set up. i started with 2 ming aralias, 2 juniper bonsai and 2 buddhist pine and a few other odd plants. land scaped and planted the trees in groups, keeping the same types together. i found some rocks to use too. today i bought some different types of moss and planted it around the landscape. im not too sure what will work out and what wont but in time ill find out! its not enclosed like a terrarium so i dont know if some of the moss will survive but besides that it turned out better than i imagined!
I enjoyed this! There's not much soil there. How frequently do you water? Are the wires forever, or removed after some time? I have a large ming aralia that I might consider cutting for a project like yours.
I didnt realize the stalks, I guess stalks or stems were that bendable/pliable before the wires were added, I guess the pictures I had been looking at, looked like a hard wood, I was looking up the care of, because I believe Im going to purchase one and I had already thought these look like little trees, and than you mentioned bonsai in the title, and I thought, hell yeah its on, good job on that, it looks cool.
You are brilliant
He makes that look so easy.
Amazing
