excelent amplifier ,i have a lot of 70´s pioneer gear and than some even older with a higher quality to what have been released till early 2000´s, i have the SA-608 and the SA-9800(78/79)but have several others older. my family was a pioneer freak, my father colected hi-fi components i also do ,and when family didn´t want their old systems i would keep all, mostly from the 70´s, one can´t go wrong with this and there are so many more modern speakers that even improve it´s sound ,i have some Mission argonaut MKII(780) 200watts at 4 ohms ,the sound is clean and every body that listen to it was admired by it´s highest sound quality, with the SA-606 , the same and i tried some Mission speakers but less powerfull also from the 80´s ,the 761 at 4 ohms , there are similar referencies but this ones only ,also the 763 (if one can find a pair today) they were made by philips in belgium at the time, i refer the mission speakers ,not that i am a mission fan but i have several other speakers brands, and when trying the 761 i was also admired by it´s quality with this late 70´s pioneer integrated amplifiers, i also have the SX-150 conected to some huge infinity speakers, those with a nice wood work on their sides and also sound amazing, they are all great and what surprises me is never needed to fix anything, and some tell me to change this or change that but those parts are tested and working perfect so why install new ones

keep it forever, do not sell vintage equipment, they are not made this way anymore. you'd always regret if you sell them. enjoy 'em 'il the last days,
