Yep, pretty massive. I remember being so extremely surprised when I evolved my first one back when Scarlet and Violet came out lol, thing was like five times the size of my character, almost bigger than Koraidon!

@@eljordinio7647oh it’s definitely big enough for it so it is his ride Pokémon and friede and orla has theirs so we now need the other RVT ride Pokémon because all of the explorers might already have theirs we just need to see chalce, hamber and gibeons and spinel needs to evolve his.
Kilowattrel is pretty big even in the games. I expected, that they will make it the same size as Talonflame or Staraptor, but this thing is almost as big as a Corviknight.
Nah Kilowattrel is 4 foot 7, and I think that might be just big enough for someone like Roy to ride
Talonflame and Staraptor are 3 foot 11 while Corviknight is in the 7 foot range

I'm honestly super surprised! I never used Kilowattrel in the games, so had no clue it was THAT giant haha. It's making me appreciate the Pokemon so much more than before! ⚡

The next episode seems to be Hatenna focused. Considering that there had been a very recent magazine leak showing off Hattrem in the anime artstyle, which pretty much confirms that Hatenna will evolve at some point, and possibly even next episode.

I mean it makes sense in a way Hatenna has a type advantage over Annihilape & its ape tribe. After seeing Hatenna having shown interest in Liko's battling with Sprigatito, she might finally be ready to take part in battling

I'm glad that Roy's Wattrel evolved into a Kilowattrel. It looks so cool and a total badass so it might become more of a competitive battler. I just hope Liko's Hatanne will evolve into Hattrem someday since it might be the only way for her to do Pokémon battles. Like Mallow's Bounsweet who evolved into a Steenee and then Tsareena.
Once i saw the blue glow in the preview, i already knew what was coming. I hope Kilowattrel does a lot more now that it's evolved

@@eljordinio7647 we can’t say that till they all evolve like hatenna is so evolving sometime soon I think the liko vs tulip battle or her next battle against Anne it could be sandshrew vs hatenna. Quaxly could evolve against kofu since I don’t think her and penny are rivals like the others have and fuecoco could evolve against ryme it would be perfect or against rayquaza but that is the 1 I’m iffy about but I would love for them all to fully evolve.
Remember Wattrel doesn't have any matches but always willing to help Roy or even his friends like Dot in other ways, that's the meaning of Evolution just like us learning and getting better and better even in simple ways it's still a growth

This episode was super good! I love Ryme as a charecter so much already, and I had the exact same assumption when she looked at Fuecoco (hopefully this hints at a future battle between Roy and Ryme were Skeledirge becomes a reality)
Wattrel really shined in this episode and hope he gets more focus now that he's fully-evolved.

This episode was pretty sweet. Loved the evolution and the development. Nice to see the actual gym leaders of the region too. Next episode looks interesting. Glad I could actually see this episode.

I’m hoping Roy catches the Capsakid in an upcoming episode! It seems to have a funny relationship with Roy and Fuecoco with them liking its spicy seeds. Maybe it’ll pull the same move Ash’s Krookodile did as a Sandile and follow Roy around
I hoped so too, but since he already has a fire type I think maybe they won’t 🤔
I hope it won't be too long before Fuecoco, Quaxly, Hatanne and Tinkatink evolve. It would totally awesome if they evolved as well and become more badass.
Definitely just like with Brassius, this episode is for sure foreshadowing Ryme will be Roy's next test, And perhaps will be when Fuecoco evolves with the interest Ryme had in him. (plus loved how Liko & Roy are with phone recordings!!!!)
And I can't believe that the mysterious & terrifying pokemon that Ryme mentioned (and the rumor hint she gave in saying "kono yo o saru" ~ to leave this world) was to lead up to the Next Ep of the Unworldly was to mean Annihilape!!!!!!!!!!!
The OP already tells us who is going to battle and in what order dot vs kofu first then liko vs tulip and Roy vs ryme last. After that we see Larry most likely showing them how to change their Tera types at his gym then grusha probably for a fun snowboarding ep. They are most likely going to be done and leaving to another region I think sinnoh at the end of July or start of August. So I was right this was only going to be 15-20ep arc just a way to show off game characters and give them Tera orb before we go back to the main plot.
@@shadowwizard2383 Does the opening really? I only recall it just shows the gym leaders with their partners appearing one after the other (then with Larry and the E4), but I don't think it showed any indicator of who fights who
@@MarcusMapua these are just the most reasonable pairings and they did the first 3 in orders so it makes sense that they are all in order dot vs kofu would definitely help dot come out of her shell even more with the food auction and she just recently started eating regular foods instead of those bars she could discover she really loves tasting different foods or making it and that would be a great moment for dot and Murdock to be cooking together also quaxly could benefit from kofu. Liko and tulip make sense liko sub goal is to understand Pokémon emotions and that is tulips pre test then there is hatenna that is a psychic type who could really benefit from tulip. Roy fighting ryme is a definite she is a singer just like and ghost type just like fuecoco final evolution. I will be totally shocked if these are not their last test. Oh I did mess up it’s grusha after the test which is probably just a fun snowboarding ep then Larry last probably showing them how to change types then it’s the E4 but I think them and penny will have the 2 ep after the friede ep. Then they go to on to do the last test.

@@MarcusMapua yeah I think they are just representing that he is the normal type GL and flying type E4 and that is why he has 2 will everyone else has 1 but who knows. I definitely think he is going to show them how to change their Tera types because his gym is the only place to do it in the whole game

I was rewatching Halo opening yesterday and I found it for the first time, that Wattrel was there in the Rayquaza Sequence, flying alongside it. Damn I watched it like around 30 times before but never saw it there.
That opening is so good...

While part of me is upset that Wattrel didn't get too much screentime to justify an evolution yet I am excited to see the future what Kilowattrel has to offer. At least we got plenty of Wattrel content this episode

New merch preorders have gone up in Japan for two plushes- Floragato, and Hattrem!! Same release date. I feel like this basically confirms Hatenna’s evolution, probably next episode!
That was so EXCITING that WATTREL HAD EVOLVED INTO KILOWATTREL!!! It was a tad early for the evolution, but that was a VERY EXCITING MOMENT!!!!
38 episodes is a pretty good gap for a 2 stage evolution

I haven’t watched the episode yet, so I’m not gonna be spoiled at this time. However, given that it was obvious that it was gonna be an evolution with one of Roy’s Pokémon, it brings up a certain point in my mind. If there’s going to be a confirmation that Fuecoco will not get an evolution throughout this entire series, I will not appreciate that. That routine of writing didn’t work out so well in the older version of this anime, so I’m expecting some growth, especially evolution wise. Otherwise, I’m optimistic that all of the Pokémon will get their development, especially being able to evolve.

At the moment, Liko/Roy/Dot are studying at the Naranja Academy in Paldea, so they can get stronger as trainers, and master Terastallization! That way they'll be better prepared to find Lucius's other Pokemon, and to fight the Explorers! 🔥

Finally we get to see one of the main character's Pokemon evolved in the Terastal Debut Arc at last.
I got an idea where roy catches a noibat in the galar mines since 1 liko caught something in galar and 2 roy has a team of sound based pokemon
I mean it doesn't have to be just sound--based pokemon, I think when it comes to Roy's team theme (besides the other supporting themes of Roy's team consist of gluttons and had various problems, which was either fear or insecurities; it would be more along the lines of pokemon knowing a sound-based move; I mean Wattrel's line isn't known for sound usage after all. Besides, hard to say if Roy would need another flying than Kilowattrel now.
And If it is okay to be honest & speak my opinion, I hope that for a future Liko catch would be a Pokemon that has Great Mobility and/or can Fly to be ridden on. Liko really needs a way to quickly evade the Explorers if they try to capture her again; from either being chased from their air like Amethio & his subordinates did or caught in Spinel's cornering traps (and have a better way of reach for next time when fighting Rayquaza). In which I hope for Noibat~Noivern; it starts out as a cute Noibat & evolves into a cool fierce-looking Noivern!!!! Liko really needs a way to quick evade Explorers (and have a better way of reach for next time when fighting Rayquaza). With Noivern's flight & power, it'd be a reckoning force (+ give a bit of redemption in honor of Ash's Noivern) And Liko's team likes naps; could see it napping upside down. And if to match a bit of her theme, with Noibat & Noivern's hearing, it could really be a pokemon that will really Listen to you & help you let out your Inner Voice! Plus, Noivern's turquoise color could pair well w/ Liko's blue colors. And it'd be a cool pair w/ Noivern as next "jet-black" Sky Racer Hero to Moltres, + I figured a fierce-looker to Liko's team will boost her image; Explorers underestimate Liko to get her for Terapagos. But once her team grows (like with a Fierce-looking Dragon), they'll think twice Liko is weak or easy
I think roy is going to catch a gimmeghoul in paldea liko catches a husui growlithe in sinnoh while dot catches a rockruff in alola. The poster and a picture has gimmeghoul always closes to Roy, liko getting husui growlithe because husui is when Lucius lived and growlithe is Diana starters and it follows the theme of liko team being the new hero Pokémon floragato/rayquaza there ace, hatenna/oblivia healing wounds, husui growlithe/entei galloping across the land, ???/glarian moltres soaring the sky, ???/lapras swimming the sea, ???/kleavor breaking walls, dot will get rockruff because it seems to be a family Pokémon her mom Blanche has midnight lycanrok her uncle Murdock rockruff can evolve his to midday lycanrok and dot can evolve hers to dusk lycanrok.
I think Roy will catch capsikid later. They’re just building their relationship, it’s happened many times before like ash not catching sandile until it evolved into krokorok in unova.

I don’t think they will have liko or Roy catch any Pokémon that is or can be the same type as there starter just like ash so no Roy will not catch it it is just a Pokémon of the day. The Pokémon I see them catching next is Roy gimmeghoul because in the poster and a picture it is always closes to Roy and he loves treasure, liko husui growlithe because Lucius lived in husui time and growlithe is Diana starter and dot rockruff it seems to be a family Pokémon her mom has midnight lycanrok her uncle has rockruff that will most likely evolve into midday lycanrok and dot rockruff evolved into dusk lycanrok.

Wattrel's evolution kinda reminded me of Ash's Gliger, where ot girst learnt to overcome its weakness, that being of height, and then when its trainer falls down the cliff and is in grave danger, the Pokemon evolves to help save them.

Roy may catch this Capiskid in the near future remember how you mentioned about that Gimmeghoul in the current series poster that also has the Capiskid with in it perhaps it's hinting the trio or even Friede's group catching another Pokemon.

Does anyone else feel like horizons is setting up Liko, Roy, and Dot to catch certain Pokémon later in the series? For example, Liko forming the bond with Palafin and witnessing their hero transformation episodes ago. I’m still not counting that catch out for a future episode and I think Liko was not yet evolved enough as a trainer to have caught it at that time. Wouldn’t have made sense to have such a strong Pokémon on her team back then.
And Capsakid would make such a great addition to Roy’s team! They are still doing their report on wild Pokémon in the forest so I’m hopeful Capsakid will make their return soon before the trio makes it back to the academy. The new episode was meant to focus heavily on Wattrel’s evolution and there would have been too much going on for Horizon’s pace to have an evolution AND a capture in the same episode.
Anyone else thinking the same?
Well to be fair in Palafin's case, it is somewhat of a hometown/local hero; it can't just up & leave. Plus, My concern with Finizen/Palafin is that since it's a main Water-Dweller Pokemon, it might end up like Misty's Goldeen or Horsea; where we won't see it that often & it won't get developed due to not being able to be on land (I mean the series setting is on a traveling Skyship after all). Plus I do kinda like the initial idea of Liko catching regional pokemon to her team (kinda just like her ancestor in Lucius technically did)
I feel like Capskid would be such a cool pokemon for Roy. I would love for them to introduce a final stage for Skovilian and he can evolve it next gen. I feel like Liko shouldn't catch Palafin cuz they fly in a airship . Would be afraid it would get the Misty Horsea treatment.

Albeit if Roy does get the capsakid, his team would be so weak against Rock types; especially if he were to fight Onyx & Garganacl or Aerodactyl

Anyone who thinks Kilowattrel could be the next gen Galarian Moltres in Horizons, the way Hattena is being said to be the next gen Arboliva. I don't know why but I felt it.
If I'm being honest, due to that we all think Liko is Lucius's descendant, I thought a cool idea would be that Liko's entire full team could be the next generation Six Heroes. And I just knew Hatenna had the potential to be a Healer when she learned Heal Pulse!!!! She is Arboliva's Successor as the Next Gen Wound Healer Hero!!!!!! If it is okay to be honest & speak my opinion, I hope that for a future Liko catch would be a Pokemon that has Great Mobility and/or can Fly to be ridden on. Liko really needs a way to quickly evade the Explorers if they try to capture her again; from either being chased from their air like Amethio & his subordinates did or caught in Spinel's cornering traps (and have a better way of reach for next time when fighting Rayquaza). In which I hope for Noibat~Noivern; it starts out as a cute Noibat & evolves into a cool fierce-looking Noivern!!!! Liko really needs a way to quick evade Explorers (and have a better way of reach for next time when fighting Rayquaza). With Noivern's flight & power, it'd be a reckoning force (+ give a bit of redemption in honor of Ash's Noivern) And Liko's team likes naps; could see it napping upside down. And if to match a bit of her theme, with Noibat & Noivern's hearing, it could really be a pokemon that will really Listen to you & help you let out your Inner Voice! Plus, Noivern's turquoise color could pair well w/ Liko's blue colors. And it'd be a cool pair w/ Noivern as next "jet-black" Sky Racer Hero to Moltres, + I figured a fierce-looker to Liko's team will boost her image; Explorers underestimate Liko to get her for Terapagos. But once her team grows (like with a Fierce-looking Dragon), they'll think twice Liko is weak or easy

Im actually shocked. Wattrel evolves at a later level than all the starter pokemon and has less battling experience than the protagonist's starter pokemon. Most of the starter pokemon haven't evolved yet, despite getting the majority of experience from battles. It just dosen't really make sense.
Again, I have to point out the funny animation on Liko's face when she was worried about Roy falling. Giving me serious Serena vibes right now.

(and what more so that the type of Rageful Ghost that wants to aggressively punch you into the afterlife than Annihilape)

No its just that big and we have 9 sizes in SV xxxs, xxs, xs, s, m, l, xl, xxl, xxxl I think roy wattrel was s so that isn’t to much of a size difference from its average size m so same for its evolution. Just like liko hatenna is on the small size compared to the 1 ash meet.

I wonder if Capsakid will return later in the series and join Roy then. I can see Roy with his evolved (but not fully evolved) Pokemon meeting Capsakid again and Roy remembers him and treats Capsakid like a old friend they haven't seen in a while. But that's just me.

I had really lousy luck with this episode. First, my usual stream went completely mute and silent, and when I tried to follow your Discord stream, the exact opposite happened and the screen went completely black. I missed the entire second half of the episode because of this and have no idea what Ryme sounds like yet. And it had to be an evolution episode to... *Sigh...*

I'm on the side believing that this was the perfect moment for Wattrel to evolve.
First off, I want everyone to remember that Ash's Starly evolved into Staravia at episode 14 of D/P lol. This is well past that point for Wattrel and I've always believed that Roy was going to be the first one to have his secondary pokemon evolve first due to him needing Wattrel to carry as much weight as Fuecoco in order to acheive his established goal of battling Rayquaza on even footing.

They will have a full team of 6 its just going at a slower pace then ash series and it will be longer because gen 10 is definitely coming out in 2026 for Pokémon 30th anniversary so that is a whole another year from the 3 years ash series had. What I think there next catch is going to be is Roy gimmeghoul he loves treasure and the poster and a picture it is always closes to Roy then liko will get husui growlithe because Lucius lived in husui times and Diana starter is a growlithe and dot rockruff it seems to be a family Pokémon her mom Blanche gots midnight lycanrok her uncle Murdock could evolve his rockruff to midday lycanrok and dot could evolve her rockruff to dusk lycanrok. The Pokémon after that will most likely be Pokémon that can mega evo because half of the RVT/explorers already have Pokémon that can mega evo so I definitely think they all are going to be getting a mega Pokémon.

I think it make sense why watterl have less screen back then, i mean watterl born differrent, its tiny wing make it harder to fly, it cant do what the other regional bird do back then, the only way to make watterl became more useful by evolving it and now it had no issue with fly anymore, also that kilowatterl is Small compared to the other Kilowatterl (if you remember that episode 14 then you know roy watterl is the smallest one)
I know some people feel unworthy for its evolution due to less screentime, but at least we see lot of watterl screentime before this episode, also ash krabby evolve in his first battle

Roy's Wattrel is my favourite Roy's Pokémon, I like how it always have some fight with Fuecoxo, defienitily when they're eaging😂. It's interesting to see Roy's Wattrel evolves into a titan, but I believe it will be good for Roy even as a titan hopefully😮.
It's not a Titan. Kilowattrel are just big birds.
This arc really made me realize that Pokemon Journeys could have benefited if they too had a similar arc in which Ash and Goh have to stay in Galar for a prolonged period and not just going there once in a while.
