    We just got a new kitchen manager. I was 100% decided I was done. Reclass asap or get out. Within a week of knowing this amazing person she has already walked me over to the woc recruiter. She was right. This would put the fire back in my soul. I lost all my motivation working with the people I been. Instead of hating them, be in charge of them. Say no more SSG. I'm going Warrant

      So how long does it take to reach CW5?

    • @Paddy_PI
      @Paddy_PI 5 лет назад +2

      Once you pin Warrant (WO1), there is a 2 year period to pin CW2. Then it's every 6 years after that (Get your look at 5, pin at 6). So not counting your enlisted time, it would be, on average, about 20 years.

    As a specialist NCO in my country i wish we had warrant officers here so i could became one and stay in my field of expertise. As things are here if i promote to officer (Lt.) it will take me years to land a job in a specialists unit again.

      Yes, Sometimes Junior warrant officers will have additional duties and (sometimes)this is good to add to your OER. If you have too much on your plate you need to have that discussion with your boss

    Used to be the Warrant Officer Corp, now we lost the insignia of the Corp and you have to wear that Branch related crap & are just plain old Warrant Officers. So much for Customs of the Military and our heritage. Guess some Chair Warmer in the Pentagon is happy. Seems like the all the chair warmers aren't into our Heritage. They want to rename Units every 3 years so they think they've done something important. Classic example- How many Vietnam Aviation named units are still in existence., that was the real beginning of Army Aviation, less the Army Air Corp. Where the hell is the historical pride in all of that. Sorry, rant is over. Class 77-9.
