Pelican Bass Raider: Retractable Drift Stabilizer and Transducer Mount

The Pelican Bass Raider is coming along nicely. An aft drift stabilizer and transducer mount, both retractable. Winter ended early here in Maine but I've still got awhile before it's warm enough to get out on the water. I'll be ready eventually. This is the third installment of this Raider build

Interesting approach...I can just imagine you sitting there thinking all this stuff through before executing. Do you think the PVC pipe will withstand the force on it? I know there's reinforcement inside but still, those don't seem very strong to me.
