    Thank you. This was really useful. I painted my garden fence 25 years ago with creosote and didn't know it had since been taken off the shelves. I didn't know what to use to rejuvenate the fence, this has answered my question.

    Also takes a good while to soak in between coats. 24-48hrs.
    Only done the bottom of my ground posts with this product to see if it gives them that little bit more protection - the exposed parrot of my fencing I'll just use some weatherproof paint like ducksback.

    Does it smell like creosote? If not, forget it

      It does
