SKZ are good at putting deep and sad lyrics into up-beat package. I also categorize it as rather slow because of the lyrics, but it actually is pretty fast paced... "silent cry" is one of my most favourite songs from Noeasy and knowing the lyrics I cried several times listening to it when I felt depressed and lonely. But when I watched the choreo to it... and Han in that sleeveless shirt T_T I can't unsee it anymore XD
This song is good to listen to in a pair with Secret Secret, I've heard Silent Cry was possibly written in response to Secret Secret which Han wrote. I agree btw, this song is on my slower-skz-songs playlists because although the beat isn't that slow the vibe of it and the message are simpler and it gets you in your feels vs hyped up kind of energy.
This song is so good I'm very glad that I don't understand Korean because I wouldn't vibe as hard knowing the lyrics haha, this live would definitely GO SO HARD
i know im 2 years late but korean is a "prettier" language as it is so even if you know the language it won't sound like it would sound if the song was in english (especially since you can't perfectly translate Korean into english)
Silent Cry is now a staple for concert performances because it’s very popular with fans…basically because it’s very sexy. They first did it at the fan meet in February and everyone was shocked because it’s so sentimental.
The lyrics for this song are amazing, and do feed into a conversation of sorts between a number of other STRAY KIDS' "slower" songs. They are not afraid to openly discuss sadness, loneliness, depression and caring for others. It is an interesting choice to juxtapose the upbeat tempo with these particular lyrics, but given they have plenty of slower songs, my guess is it is deliberate (3racha are often spontaneous, but always deliberate in their choices) - perhaps to make those who otherwise only listen to their upbeat songs hear a message they feel is important. There's a fan meeting dance version available here: ruclips.net/video/SSAiD4TbMAQ/видео.html which caused a storm at the time. Felix had just injured his back so only appeared at the start, and Hyunjin was also injured, taped up, and with (comparatively) limited movement. So people online really noticed the dancing of the other members (and errm, their biceps/triceps, if you care about that). Lee Know is astonishing - there's a reason he is the dance leader.
-I recently saw some dance choreography from one of their concerts and the song is sad but the dance is sexy lol. For the longest time this song was my favorite but it’s also really relatable to me.

Fans like this song because it is like a theme song of a drama or an animation. There's a live performance and the choreography is so nice
Please, show them a live version. I just watched Han's fancam. Again. So good.
