This video really spoke to me. I use my Egyptian dolls to ground me I alway felt a pull towards them. I have many Egyptian items and decks around them.

What a cool conversation! Following the moon has always been a part of my practice that I've struggled with. My ADD leaves me with that object impermanence issues, the moon just doesn't exist until I remember it does. 😂 Maybe if I did something like this it would help. I ground mostly by just the good ol' therapy style check in. You know the one where you find something you can see, hear, feel etc. I also sort of repeat "I'm fine, I'm safe" while I do it. Thank you for talking about grounding. I need a doll who keeps me out of the fridge and food cupboard. 😂
Susan that’s why this works for me. I don’t have a diagnosis but I’ve started looking after myself as if I already have a ADHD diagnosis (which my doctor told me there was a 23 year waiting list for diagnosis and testing 😫) and tbh it’s been incredible. ❤️❤️

That 1st doll, I don't think i knew existed. I know there were some mini poopsie slime back in the day, but thought they were different. This looks like a shadow high type. Interesting. She's so adorable!

Candy, your channel has helped me reclaim my childhood and heal through dolls. I absolutely cherish this channel and you have such a calming presence. Thank you so much for unknowingly helping me move past some childhood grief. I appreciate it so much and now I have four lovely Barbie friends from my local thrift shop. Every time I see them on my shelf, all dressed up and pretty, I smile and feel happy. It means so much to me 🩷 I am also looking into tarot, and I am feeling as through it may help me on my journey. Do you have any recommendations for a beginner deck?
Oh that is so beautiful to read on a Sunday morning. Wow thank you for taking the time to tell me that and I know you’ve got this! Step by step through and out ❤️❤️ Evie a great beginners deck is any deck I think that resonates with you. I started with decks that stuck to the rider Waite smith system and I think that was a wise decision. Liz deans book the ultimate guide to tarot i absolutely loved. Plus the book tarot 101 . As for decks I love the tarot of curious creatures and would recommend that to everybody but especially beginners but it depends if you like animals and Human body’s mixed but go check it out. Evie I show lots of decks on my tarot channel too so I’m not sure if you’ve found me there or not yet. And again thank you for your lovely message I’ll carry that all day like a hug. If you find a deck that resonates don’t hesitate to ask about it here again before you buy. I’m always happy to help but those books are worth every penny and Liz deans books shows big full colour images of the rider Waite deck so you can reference those cards without necessarily needing to buy that deck if it doesn’t appeal ….. although I would recommend eventually getting a rider Waite ❤️❤️❤️

@@EvieLayton oh and just to add any oracle deck can be used without existing knowledge as there isn’t a system to learn for oracles. I know that’s possibly super obvious knowledge but I forget sometimes that when I was a complete beginner I didn’t realise tarot and oracle were different things. Just putting that out there for anybody reading who is totally new to divination decks x❤️❤️

Aww 🥰Candy 🍬 🍬 I don't know how you do it but i think every video you make is even better than the last and i love them all! I ground in quiet sometimes with crystals or rocks, herbs, sticks , feathers, singing bowls and bells. Whatever i feel at the time. Great reminder to ground because sometimes i get so caught up in stuff i forget. Sorry i haven't been able to respond to all your videos. We are still away and the internet is awful and we have been moving around visiting relatives but mostly just spending time with my Beautiful little Granddaughter. I kinda feel like that recently where I'm all over the place. I love the moon. I have a larger canvas of the moon above my bed. Your moon doll is cute a mini rainbow High. Amyra Raine is a special doll for me she and my beanie babie doll are my favourites. I like the colours green 💚 or white . I like that your dolls have stories, and your mermaze doll is cute. I'm so glad! I cleanse all of mine with sound, I have a bell I ring ive seen other people use singing bowls. also you can pass them through smoke to cleanse so a candle lit with a set intention or incense which again can have a symbolic meaning too. then of course putting them on windowsills on the full moon to recharge. its all a beautiful practice. ive also seen crystals submerged in dry rice overnight to cleanse them and then the rice thrown away after. also washed in salt water but be careful with water as some crystals will dissolve or react you need to do your research first. ❤️❤️
Candy, your video strikes a deeply touching and personal chord! Your channel deserves more subscribers. I died hard in 2001, and would best describe it as a death where the dead shall stay dead! From that death, there is no coming back. Since then, a lot of things in my life went sideways, from no fault of mine. I was lost and suddenly found myself in a very very dark place I was ill prepared for, without my roots that were ripped from me and erased, as if I’d never existed. Scary! I am now in a better place, and consider myself the most fortunate that My Angel appeared to me in the midst of a health scare. Here with me, My Guardian remains, and is keeping me grounded. You speak of various connected interests, of collections, of colors and their moods, of nature, of “quiet space”, and how wearing pendants around the neck can keep us grounded. I wear a pendant of My Angel, always, even to sleep….. Very grounding, indeed! Smells are another way I stay grounded, but that’s a whole other happy hobby to speak of!!😊🌲🎄
We both walked the path through and out! I described it as when you break something and it doesn’t break to pieces but to dust! It’s gone. Nothing to rebuild. There was only the option of rebirth left if I was to carry on. I know that place you talk about ❤️❤️❤️
