I’ve never heard the original mix of Forbidden so hearing this for the first time I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure if I wanna hear the original lol but I am curious
The new mix of Forbidden sounds incredible! If it were always like this, then the Martin era would've gone out on a better note, in my opinion. I'm glad to see Tony Martin finally getting his due.
I have the original pressing of the eternal idol to and the two cds 💿 was really cool of the remastered two cd set with Tony and Ray singing the songs from that album.

I think the new remixed albums sound so much better and as a long time Black Sabbath fan I think looking back over history it is clear to me that Tony Martin is the best singer the band ever had because of his voice and range he is the only one who could sing any song on all 19 albums.

I just got my box set on vinyl today. The vinyls sounds great!
I haven't gotten my box set yet, but I listened to the albums on Spotify and they sound amazing. I have had all of them for many years, but I wanted the box set for the remastering and the remix of Forbidden. The live album Cross Purposes Live should have been included on this box set, and it would be the complete history of the Tony Martin era on IRS label.
It's £99.99 in the UK for the CD set...I got a Rhino US set for £50.49 delivered from a UK eBay seller that imported some copies. Got it on 30 May..... still waiting on the vinyl from Amazon UK £90. Still have multiple copies of the original CDs.
had to go all the way to the sunrise records at place versaille to pick up the new black sabbath tony martin anno domini boxset.... havent cracked it open yet but looking forward to it.... damn though it was expensive compared to how much americans can get it for .... $127 with taxes canadian....

Tony Martin also re-recorded all his vocals for the remixed version of Forbidden. I still like his voice from 30 years ago a little better.
Tony Martin didn't re-record his vocals for Forbidden and didn't take process in Tony Iommi and his engineers in the process he isn't a member of Black Sabbath which is Co- owned by Tony Iommi and Ozzy Osborne 50/50 split settled out of court in 2010 he wasn't allowed to be part of the remixing but offered his help and was told he couldn't due to legal reasons.

Well that's not true Ozzy and Tony are 50% owners of the name Black Sabbath Sharon and Ozzy will get 50% of the profits from that box set Sharon and Ozzy are going to get paid
Tony just can't put out an album with the Black Sabbath name on it without being approved by Ozzy Osbourne so they're responsible for that album coming out in fact you might want to thank Ozzy Osbourne for that album

we cant mix dehumanizer with the tony martin era cuz it would be unfair to the tont martin era. dehumanizer belongs in the dio sabbath section. if dehumanizer was compared to any of the martin era, sorry dehumanizer is my favorite sabbath album hands down. not a big fan of ozzys voice. sabbaths true singer will always be dio for me. so lets leave dehumanizer out of the tony martin era equation...

to me the weakest sabbath album in the total sabbath discography, seventh star, for me, is the weakest in the entire sabbath catalogue...
