My assumption is even Rajat won't fetch 14 or 11 in the auction. This being a mega auction, most of the teams will be short of money to be splurging on anyone 1 player. PBKS and GT might come in to the auction with the heaviest purseS and I see them putting up a fight for every player they deem is necessary. Else every other franchise will lose a lot in their respective retentions. Letting everyone go and rebuilding a new team is more logical. Especially if rumours or to go by and KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant are on their way out from their respective teams. We will have a power packed INDIAN core with those two in the team.

I agree , Acc to the news it is said that Cam Green will retain during the IPL , hopefully everything goes fine and he makes it. Giving him up for me is not an option because we have the 2nd best pace bowling allrounder. In the auction you'll have the likes of Glenn Phillips, Phil Salt, Dhruv Jurel, Prabhsimran Singh, KS Bharat, etc. Some of these players may have their franchises exercise their RTM card (Salt, Jurel, etc.) Phillips is a strong contender imo, but I'd like to see Prabhsimran singh open with Kohli plus he can keep apart from being Indian. Burning question of whether KL Rahul goes into the auction (should LSG part ways officially) brings another question of, should RCB win his bid, will KL be willing to bat 5 down? His opening numbers are abysmal so unless he's improved his T20 game, it's all up in the air. Also depends how much he'll go for. Anything above 15 crores is too much for KL.
- Spinners: This is where RCB lacked last year insptie of the miraculous turnaround in the latter half of the season. They purused with Karn Sharma. RCB should try to get some leggies like Tewatia, Rahul Chahar in the mix or even get Hasaranga back at a low price.

My assumption is even Rajat won't fetch 14 or 11 in the auction. This being a mega auction, most of the teams will be short of money to be splurging on anyone 1 player. PBKS and GT might come in to the auction with the heaviest purseS and I see them putting up a fight for every player they deem is necessary. Else every other franchise will lose a lot in their respective retentions.
Letting everyone go and rebuilding a new team is more logical. Especially if rumours or to go by and KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant are on their way out from their respective teams. We will have a power packed INDIAN core with those two in the team.

I agree , Acc to the news it is said that Cam Green will retain during the IPL , hopefully everything goes fine and he makes it. Giving him up for me is not an option because we have the 2nd best pace bowling allrounder. (He is way better than Hardik , but because he takes an INTL spot he takes second spot.) 1 season with a player with talent like Green and giving him up is braindead , because he will go for a price like Stark and Cummins if you put him a mini auction. Maxwell and Jacks are probably RTMs. For me if they retain FAF , I dont see value in retaining Jacks because we are nerfing him from whats his best role. After this retention RCB can use 1 RTM for siraj in ipl mega auction ballers maximum price would 10 crores they can go for 14 to 17 crores. After all the retention RCB would had a price of 72 crores
Virat Kohli and Yash Dayal to be the only retentions.
Faf is not gonna go much due to his age factor.
Siraj also is not gonna go for 14 or 11 crs as he"s weakest format is T20s.
Patidar is worth 14 crs, but a gamble can be taken which can save RCB a 2-3 crs if possible.

Now, before you tell me to take it easy with the hot takes, hear me out. I have an idea that’ll keep the game fun, restore the balance, and-here’s the kicker-give the bowlers some well-deserved relief.
The Bold Solution: Maximum 20 Balls per Batsman
You’ve heard of a powerplay, right? Well, this is like a ‘power-limit’ for batsmen. Every batsman can face a maximum of 20 deliveries. That’s it. Once they hit their limit, they’ve got to hand over the spotlight to the next batter.
BUT, if they’re still not out and their teammates haven’t lasted 20 balls, they can keep batting. So, we’re not putting anyone on early retirement-just spreading the responsibility across the team.
No more one-man-show performances. Every player has to step up, and T20 becomes a true team game again.
Bowlers won’t feel like they’re bowling to the same batter for 10 overs. They can finally smile again, knowing that after 20 balls, they get to see a new face (and no more nightmares about being hit for sixes on loop!).
Fans get the entertainment they crave. We’ll see more strategy, more surprises, and fewer predictable ‘oh, here comes another six’ moments.
Right now, sixes are like cheap candy. You get too many, and you’re bored. T20 should be about the thrill of the unexpected, right?
With this new rule, every delivery a batsman faces will be precious. They’ll have to make every shot count because they know they’ve only got 20 balls to leave their mark. And bowlers? They’ll get a fair chance to play their game without being beaten down by one batsman across multiple overs.

Well as an RCB Fan for more than 10 years all I would say is we focus more on core and bring in semi-decent players and head coach andy's meticulous training be tried and tested on them so that they can show their talent and perform for the team
