Oh beautiful, sweet, angelic Ella.... your voice is an absolute piece of heaven here on earth! Thank you for sharing yet another beautifully sung masterpiece. Your gift of song and beauty never fail us. This has always been a favorite of mine.
She has the voice of an angel! A branch of my family line came from Ireland. Sadly, I have never been able to visit, and at age 79, I may never do so.
I've only just found this ladies singing. Omg what a beautiful voice. Danny boy is not a favourite of mine but with this lady singing it is. It's touched my heart thank you.
Удивителна трктовка на тази популярна, прекрасна песен! Стойностно , отговорно , вдъхновяващо!!! Огромно- Благодаря на Ела, за това ,че я има в нашият (за жалост) ,безстойностен свят!!❤🎉❤
You brought tears to my eyes with this song, ma'am. It was one of my late father's favorite songs and we had it sung at his funeral in 22009. I know he would have loved your version of this wonderful song. Thank you!
Ella Roberts just keeps outdoing herself what a beautiful rendition of Danny boy she has such a natural delivery again I say thank you every time I listen to you I am indebted to you do not think I will ever be able to pay the debt

This is my Favourite and this version will take some beating, Very well Done. Best Regards 🪗🪗🪗Mick.
I love how you used an older man in this video (Was that your father, Danny, by any chance?) as well as the old lady in "Loch Lomond." It added the sense of time and a great depth of emotion to the videos. God bless you, Ella! Thanks for "letting your light shine before all men" to inspire and encourage them as stygian clouds loom in the sky.
Ahhh, thy voice n song has brought a tear to this old soldier's eyes Miss Ella Roberts! I thank ye from my heart of hearts!
Anyone who disliked this video, must not have hearing or eyes! Such a beautiful song a version!!!

Another beautiful memory for this old man. I don't know when I first heard this song. It is tearful song of longing. Ella if angels do sing one of them sounds like you. The cinematography is incredible and creative. God Bless, be safe and happy

"from glen to glen and down the mountainside" ;)
Beautiful song, written to the music known as ‘Londonderry Air’ in my home country, Northern Ireland.
Unofficial anthem of Northern Ireland being used in many events but a song and tune we all love dearly. Great cover Ella!
i believe the tune was written by a scotswoman called jane ross
I wonder why you forgot to mention the lyricist.
Written by Fredrick Weatherly, an English lawyer.
My twin 5 year old granddaughters love to go to sleep to this song. So beautifully done ❤
You just surpassed Celtic Women as my favorite version of this. Beautiful.

For my Father Sidney who loved this song and for his younger brother Danny. They both went to the Second World War aged 20 and 18 but only my father came home from that war. Thank you Ella my dad would have loved this so much.

What a stunning performance by red haired Ella.....perfect diction , superb tone, wonderful voice......the best version of this song you will ever hear!
"Danny Boy" is a ballad, written by English songwriter Frederic Weatherly in 1913, and set to the traditional Irish melody of "Londonderry Air".
Weatherly gave the song to the vocalist Elsie Griffin, who made it one of the most popular songs in the new century. .......as I said above, this version by Ella is the best you will ever hear!
One of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard, ideally suited to Both Scottish and Irish songs .
Danny Boy is an English song
@@georgebarnes8163 And what is your point I know who wrote it, it was Frederic Weatherly
Ella - you are one of the most beautiful ladies I have ever seen with an even more beautiful voice. If anyone doubts God, then they need only watch and listen to you sing.
