+Joe Powers (Liquid Fox) I don't think so. Gilgamesh was first introduced as a character in ff5. but in other words during his time in the game. he was trapped in the void by exdeath. then he soon realized he can go across different dimensions. so chronologically, Gilgamesh getting the oden sword is not canon.
I remember buying Final Fantasy 8 30 years ago and I still play it to this day on a playstation I bought that day just to play that game, yet I know so many awesome Final Fantasy fans it blows my mind how long we all have been playing this particular franchise. It really holds a special place in out hearts.
That's crazy you were able to get it so early, I wasn't even born till 1991 and you got it in 1989? I was busy being an infant and you were busy schooling ultimecia. I'm a noob so I didn't get it till '99.
I'm surprised Zodiark is not in here or even an honorable mention, he is the youngest out of all the esper summons and has a killer overdrive attack that's worth sitting in awe for.
+Chase Logan Ugh... Ruby. That jerk was the bane of my existence way-back when I played VII for the first time. Then I accidentally cast Hades. I can't think of a bigger 'F-you' in another Final Fantasy title, Hades absolutely makes Ruby his bitch, it's hilarious. Speaking of which, where the hell is Hades on this list. Or Diablos. Or Zodiark, Shemhazai, and Zeromus? Me thinks those who voted are fools.
The high praise of Bahamut, yet they did not acknowledge the variations that he had, Neo Bahamut and Bahamut Zero, both of which were stronger than the base version.
Although only seen once, as far as I can remember, and not super powerful, i've always had a soft spot in my heart for Doomtrain from FF8. It was just such a badass summon for thematic reasons. Very cool.
I'm so glad you showed Alexander from Type-0, that was a seriously impressive cutscene. I remember watching that in shock and horror going "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!" lol

I truly love the Final Fantasy franchise! Especially part 7 to 10. My favorite part of these games is the summon magic as well as the MUSIC! The musicians who made the music to these games are VERY creative and have cool and wild imagination :)
Okay, the video was solid enough, but I have to point out some things: 1) Damn it, people, phoenix down does not "resurrect the dead." When you hit 0 HP, you are not dead. You are unconscious, knocked out. That's why they call it "KO." Knocked . . . out. They spell it out for you in the games \all the time/. "What, the enemies wouldn't kill you? You expect me to believe-" No. They totally would. They would not, however, stop fighting your friends and let their guard down just to go over to your unconscious, non-threatening body and make sure that you get double-tapped while your friends are busy killing them back. This is common sense. If phoenix down could res' the dead, it would throw the narrative of all the in-game deaths akimbo. People died with phoenix down available because they actually DIED. People could get up with Life/Full-Life/Raise/Arise/Life2 because those spells reinvigorated the life of an \unconscious, but alive/ dudebro. Why can't people wrap their heads around this? I don't mean to just sound like I'm nerd raging, but damn, you can't give literary criticism and call narrative elements into play if you look at explanations in the face and just say, "Nah, I'm just gonna' repeat what all the other dumbass RUclipsrs say." 2) Leviathan, and water damage in general, has never dealt extra damage to mechanical foes. Where did you get that notion? 3) Pronunciation made easy: "Ramuh" sounds like "rom-oo." "Bahamut" sounds like "ba-ha-moot." Good job on the others, though. 4) At 2:48, to show footage from VII and say that it's from VII: Crisis Core. 5) This is more of a fun fact: The Knights of the Round summon does not actually name its participants in-game. Players are left to extrapolate which character represents which ancient knight (and king, presumably) based on our own understanding of their folklore. Tangential learning, ho!
You have brought me an entirely new perspective when it comes to fighting in Final Fantasies. You get completely wrecked by a massive explosion, some attacks closing worlds onto each other, and you simply "lose consciousness." Well that kinda ruins the fun. My question is, those spells called "death" "level x death" "doom" they inflict death after a while. Meh I think I'll keep to the idea that you die, and that some wounds can't be healed by the phoenix down.
Allen Rounds Those attacks specifically say that they KO, too. Seriously, read the bloody descriptions. Also, that's not a question. >_> You can accept the premise that creatures can be powerful enough, physically and magically, to crash worlds together, but you can't accept the premise that they can survive such things. We can have fantastic strength, but not fantastic defense. Fantastic magic is cool, but what's a resistance? Right, sure. That mentality is why most RP forums can't have nice things. "Worlds crashing together" wounds you so badly as to kill you, rather than KO you, and a tuft of phoenix down can fix that right up, but there's no coming back from a casual rock squish or abdominal stab? Who's being realistic, here? Face it: This isn't a writing error on FF's part. This is your own literary denial that you insist on because some leftover adolescent angst tells you that things have to be morbid. Look, I'm not going out of my way to be rude, here, but you're staring logic right in the face and saying, "No, I'ma stick with the explanation that falls apart as soon as I say it out loud." That's pretty sad, and I honestly think that you can be more reasonable than that. Further references: In FFTA and FFTA2:GotR, it is explicitly spelled out that, without the protection of the judges, people die in battle. That is why jagds (sounds like "yachts"), areas that operate outside the norms, specifically areas of no judges, are regarded as death zones. In FFTA, if a character dies in a jagd, they actually die (sans most story-involved NPCs, who flee), and in FFTA2, chars' bodies are preserved by a Judge, a sort of magical golem that exists specifically to do this, and the judge would abandon a clan temporarily, locking them out of restoring energy to bodies until the end of a battle if someone violated the law system. If you were killed outside a judge-sanctioned battle (whether that's because someone assassinated you before your clan's judge could ascertain the presence of a battle to adjudicate or because special magic bound your judge and you lost the battle, so you were unable to free your judge to preserve and revive your comrades), you died. Canonically, you don't suffer any casualties in FFTA2, so if you lose a judgeless battle, it's game over. In FFT, a KOd character would die and turn into a crystal or a treasure chest if left alone for three turns. Again, spells and phoenix down could revive you while KOd, but if you managed to die, you were dead. In FF, KO and death are separate. That's how it's written. If you don't like it, go play Dragon Quest, but don't complain about a plot hole in FF that FF doesn't have. It's just a matter of literary and intellectual honesty.
I feel you may be misunderstanding me. I will explain why I commented what I did. I merely was trying to explain my reasoning for convincing myself that the characters actually die in battle, as opposed to being knocked out, because it feels like it would make it seem more difficult of a fight. It makes me feel like I'm in a more serious scene, rather than just being knocked out. Knocked out reminds me of Pokemon, "aww shucks, my team got knocked out better wait for them to get better." When fighting immense monsters I'd rather think of it as a fight to the death. As for the other parts of my comments, I was merely brainstorming and letting you know my thought process. The question was supposed to go in after "My question is.. after a while," but I was tired and completely forgot to put it in there. Also, not to poke any fun, but I did look up the "bloody descriptions" just now, Doom: It places a counter over the target's head, and when it reaches zero, the target dies. Instant Death: attack that immediately kills its victim regardless of what HP they have remaining. Let's be honest, I agree that KO makes more sense, and that a lot of the times, KO is what is said in the games, but a lot of the times it says you die instead.
Allen Rounds I didn't see multiple consecutive comments. YT is strange. You're good, man. That's the point that you're missing. You associate KOs with a low-stakes, passive narrative a la Pokemon, but in many cases, there is no difference between a fight to KO and a fight to the death. Sometimes, the answer is physical or metaphysical, such as this: When you're KOd, your body enters a state of transdimensional flux that makes it difficult to interact with! We can conduct a focused effort/ritual to pick you up and carry you along/revitalize you (or your body automatically revitalizes when left alone for a bit, or we just wait around for you to wake up just like in real life, or whatever), but you can only otherwise be interacted with via specialized magic that exists in tufts of phoenix down, the Life spell, and a few other things! Sometimes, the answer is just battle logic. If you knock someone out in a brawl, you don't let your guard down to the other participants just to make sure that one guy stays down. If you're a monster against three dudebros and you knock one out, you don't stop to go eat him; you finish knocking the other two out so that you have three helpless morsels. That's logical and instinctual. Ah, I see. That's . . . dumb. Why did they get inconsistent with their narrative? Some descriptions cite KO, and others do, in fact, say death. That's just dumb. In fact, come to think of it, I remember reading a description that did say that the doom status inflicted "death" after a while, but the tutorial description explained that it KOd. Ugh, FF, come on. I won't dispute the fact that they've been inconsistent. They don't have the greatest history for translations (FFT. Don't really have to say anything else.), and, when given the narrative that I described earlier (A fight to the KO \is/ a fight to the death.), it's easy to understand how sometimes, the terms could misleadingly be used interchangeably. I have been speaking more from a perspective of developer \intent/ than from what the games entirely describe. The intent is conveyed through a majority, but yes, you're right, not all of the in-game text. Nonetheless, just as we looked beyond all the horrible translations to enjoy FFT, we should look beyond the descriptive inconsistencies to respect the intended narrative.
😄 that would be my favorite simmons! But from GS and GS:LA, they're to... how i'm supposed to say it? Short animations and no epicness. Exception for GS:DD
Michael Bongiorno I've play all 3. dark dawn was shit. worst. too easy. not enough story. not enough secrets. Lost age was amazing though. I think the summons were fantastic in every golden sun!
I tend to disagree, Odin is a beast, unless you're only comparing them to ff13s Odin. Ff7 and ff8 Odin doesn't even have to fight the enemy, they just come in, slash, and they're dead. that's why I like him more
Honestly, Bahamut absolutely deserves the #1 spot due to just being not only so powerful but also so prolific across nearly every game That said, Anima's spot as its game's secret final summon, I think should have gone to 8's "Eden", instead. Just look up the animation for it here on youtube, and you'll understand why

Hades was outstanding. Attempts to inflict a ton of status affects all in one go. In FF7, it wasn't uncommon to have his enemies rendered sleeping-mini-confused-poisoned-blinded-frogged all at once.
Since I'm really into the beast summons, my Top Ten looks like this: Bahamut, Valefor, Cerberus, Diabolos, Phoenix, Ixion, Leviathan, Odin, Fenrir and Bismarck. Eden is pretty badass too. In general, VIII has some badass designs imo. Odin looks super evil in XIV, look him up if you haven't seen him yet.
I always kept Odin in VII just to see him throw out his epic gunge. Later on in Disc 2 in FFIX when he throws it out and destroys an island was so amazing.
Knights of the round FF14 AKA Knights of the Heavensward = one of the most epic summons of the franchise. Also every summon mentioned in this video should have at least had one clip from FF14. FF13 was a disgrace to these summons, a motorcycle shiva? Alexander being a midget? Aight... PD: No FF14 Bahamut? Damn...he had the most significance in that game than ANY of other FF games.
+Orochimaru sama in FF14 they are not summons by the function, that could have been why they kept their vids to the minimum. also, FFXIV is not about summons, but crafting HQ yarns anyways!
+Jonas Klevas The Primals in FFXIV were technically summons. and you do get Bahamut's power as a summoner. But yeah...HQ Yarns overrule everything else
knights of the rounds from FF7 is unmistakingbly the most powerful summon ever released. Other than knights of the round, the first ones that came to my mind as most powerful were also Bahamut and Odin
Considering obtaining Ultima n Zodiark is pretty hard,I dont think people bothers getting them, especially when Zodiac Spear n other weapons is easier to get
No offense, but Shiva always took my top spot. Especially her version in FFX...that 'snap' at the end of her Diamond Dust move? No offense to Thanos, but she made that look COOL. Thank you everyone, I'm here all week. :P
adam lane Picking by nostalgia is a disease spread all over the web. It just bothers me. No big deal. And I think they ask "do you agree with our list" for a reason, don't you think? If they didn't want hear opinions, they would block the commentary area.

Quite fascinating. I know that I'm terrible at making strategies on Final Fantasy. The mechanics are somewhat easy to understand, but the monsters are overpowering.
No Yojimbo?? That dude was so badass you had to pay him to fight for you. That's the definition of a baller

+Howlingwolfjoey yeah I think Gilgamesh is the only character that is the same character in every appearance. I.e. not just in name like Cid
I'm surprised Diablos didn't make the list.
Jack Bauer yeah me too he's been in a fair few FF games not all as summons but he has a history equal to a few on the list.
I actually thoroughly like Shiva. She’s genuinely one of my all time favorite recurring summons, in the series.
I always liked the Diablos summon animation from FF8
Anima's backstory is heart-wrenching.
I feel so old...I played ffx when I was a little kid only to find out it came out 15 years ago and even now I think its graphics were great
same here xD
I remember buying Final Fantasy 8 30 years ago and I still play it to this day on a playstation I bought that day just to play that game, yet I know so many awesome Final Fantasy fans it blows my mind how long we all have been playing this particular franchise. It really holds a special place in out hearts.
That's crazy you were able to get it so early, I wasn't even born till 1991 and you got it in 1989? I was busy being an infant and you were busy schooling ultimecia. I'm a noob so I didn't get it till '99.
I'm just happy you included that FF Type - 0 clip of Alexander, that's easily the best sequence that he is in :)
I'm surprised Zodiark is not in here or even an honorable mention, he is the youngest out of all the esper summons and has a killer overdrive attack that's worth sitting in awe for.
Knights of the round + quadra magic+ mime = set controller down and go make dinner while you wait.
You forgot the incredible "Gilgamesh" (My TOP)
Lucyen Aerinsbrought he was shit wasnt nearly as effect as odin
You forgot his character, his character is more effective than anything
mike brown you don't know...about gilgamesh???is an evolution of Odin.See better the world of FF
Gilgamesh was WAAAAAAY too random !
The high praise of Bahamut, yet they did not acknowledge the variations that he had, Neo Bahamut and Bahamut Zero, both of which were stronger than the base version.
Was limited to ff7 though wasn't it. It's also just the same summon with slight variations so that's probably the reason.
Although only seen once, as far as I can remember, and not super powerful, i've always had a soft spot in my heart for Doomtrain from FF8. It was just such a badass summon for thematic reasons. Very cool.
Bahamut and Ifrit are both tied for my number 1 with Anima coming in at number 2 and Ixion following at number 3
Cactuar!!!!! All the way!
Yojimbo was awesome and belongs on the list....his Zanmato move was so cool. And Dark Yojimbo was epic as well.I'm also missing Diablos on this list
Oh, no zodiark? it was such a savage esper
I know right, i gave up on Zodiark until this day...
I'm so glad you showed Alexander from Type-0, that was a seriously impressive cutscene. I remember watching that in shock and horror going "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!" lol
For a game where you didn't even need summons to beat it, Crisis Core had some awesome summon FMVs.
+Fettster I remember chasing the cactuar like it was yesterday
yeah Bahamut fury was so cool. I like neo Bahamut and Bahamut ZERO, but Fury is just next level awesome.
i was just playing ff8 and got bahumut earlier.
the glowy light got me a few times but odin showed
up every time.
needs more Yojimbo. dude would kill anything if you paid him enough
Yep I grand summoned Yojimbo and killed Dark Bahamut that I unexpectedly encountered just two hours ago. Good thing Yuna had her overdrive charged..
+PunkDisciple23 not really :p i mean the paying enough part of ur comment. You can start by paying him 1gil then 2gil and so on. doesn't matter how much u pay as long as you Always paying him more than the previous time. Lost count at how many times he used his overdrive by paying him like 30 gil trololo
Jesus Feciano :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p
+PunkDisciple23
I never could get that bastard to use his overdrive.
+PunkDisciple23 Yojimbo is pretty much Odin...
Bahamut is so good they added him three times in the original FFVII. Bahamut, Neo Bahamut and Bahamut Zero. Now that one was pure badass!!!
I truly love the Final Fantasy franchise! Especially part 7 to 10. My favorite part of these games is the summon magic as well as the MUSIC! The musicians who made the music to these games are VERY creative and have cool and wild imagination :)
No Eden? You gotta be kidding me!
Yeaaah eden !!!
RIGHT THE BITCH OWNS YOU FROM SPACE!!!!!!!!!
+I AM Zero223 I would like to direct you to Bahamut Zero from Final Fantasy VII :P
+Kazuma Mishamura No Im aware but its lame.
+Kazuma Mishamura Zero didn't come with a BOOST BUTTON!!!!!!
i wish hed included bahamut footage from 14
Alexander, Anima and Bahamut are freaking badasses💪👌
Honorable mentions.
Eden from ff8
Magus sisters from ffx
Diablo from ff8
Yojimbo from ffx
Could have used the animations from FF XII, the summons look really good in that game.
While they looked great, they were incredibly unique and not at all iconic for the franchise.
Ark was amazing. 5 minutes of screentime with auto-regen had never looked so good
Okay, the video was solid enough, but I have to point out some things:
1) Damn it, people, phoenix down does not "resurrect the dead." When you hit 0 HP, you are not dead. I don't mean to just sound like I'm nerd raging, but damn, you can't give literary criticism and call narrative elements into play if you look at explanations in the face and just say, "Nah, I'm just gonna' repeat what all the other dumbass RUclipsrs say."
2) Leviathan, and water damage in general, has never dealt extra damage to mechanical foes.
You can accept the premise that creatures can be powerful enough, physically and magically, to crash worlds together, but you can't accept the premise that they can survive such things.
Further references:
In FFTA and FFTA2:GotR, it is explicitly spelled out that, without the protection of the judges, people die in battle.
I'd like to apologize if I posted multiple comments at once, youtube is messing up for me.
Also, not to poke any fun, but I did look up the "bloody descriptions" just now,
Doom: It places a counter over the target's head, and when it reaches zero, the target dies.
Instant Death: attack that immediately kills its victim regardless of what HP they have remaining.
Let's be honest, I agree that KO makes more sense, and that a lot of the times, KO is what is said in the games, but a lot of the times it says you die instead.
Allen Rounds
I didn't see multiple consecutive comments. YT is strange. You're good, man.
That's the point that you're missing. You associate KOs with a low-stakes, passive narrative a la Pokemon, but in many cases, there is no difference between a fight to KO and a fight to the death.
Sometimes, the answer is physical or metaphysical, such as this:
When you're KOd, your body enters a state of transdimensional flux that makes it difficult to interact with!
Next up, top 10 Golden Sun summons.
😄 that would be my favorite simmons!
But from GS and GS:LA, they're to... how i'm supposed to say it?
Short animations and no epicness. Exception for GS:DD
Michael Bongiorno Golden sun died after The lost age bruh..
Helicopters 101 :'(
Michael Bongiorno I've play all 3. dark dawn was shit. worst. too easy. not enough story. not enough secrets.
Lost age was amazing though.
I think the summons were fantastic in every golden sun!
Helicopters 101 Yeah, I'm just keeping up that false hope for a fourth game.
The summon monsters and the summon animations from Final Fantasy XV look awesome. Especially Titan.
Even though he isn't summonable in regular battles, Bahamut was so badass during the ifrit fight.
Where is Yojimbo he Can Kill Bosses with Zanmatou !!! 1 fucking Hit !!!!
Was thinking the same. I defeated Jecht with him!
Yojimbo is basically Odin, I'd assume they only wanted to put one in since their abilities are the same.
Fuck thats right oh man but Yojimbo is 9999 times cooler than odin
I tend to disagree, Odin is a beast, unless you're only comparing them to ff13s Odin. Ff7 and ff8 Odin doesn't even have to fight the enemy, they just come in, slash, and they're dead. that's why I like him more
t c
My favorite FF summons are Bahumut, Shiva, Odin, and Anima.
Always great choices but I never knew Anima was a woman?!
+Chris Inman anima is seymours mother, she gave her life to become the fayth for the summon :)
Rob Morgan I must've missed that part. Been a while since I lasted played FFX
When I first played I was surprised by that too lol. Valefor is a female too.
bsbgirl85 that I could tell by my first glance
No Cactus Guy as an honorable mention, I'm very disappointed WatchMojo
cactuar?
This hurts my soul
Honestly, Bahamut absolutely deserves the #1 spot due to just being not only so powerful but also so prolific across nearly every game
That said, Anima's spot as its game's secret final summon, I think should have gone to 8's "Eden", instead. Just look up the animation for it here on youtube, and you'll understand why
Top 10 Final Fantasy Summons:
#10. Phoenix
#9. Ramuh
#8. Leviathan
#7. Alexander
#6. Ifrit
#5. Anima
#4. Shiva
#3. Knights of the Round
#2. Odin
#1. Bahamut
Honourable Mention(s): Titan, Carbuncle, Tonberry, Ixion, Fat Chocobo; Special mention(s): Garuda, Valefor, Gilgamesh, Yojimbo, Fenrir, Siren
Equip Knights of the Round with quadra magic. Cast. Put kettle on while boss dies.
Yup. One of the best Materia Combinations I can remember from the Strategy Guide.
Guy needs to just pronounce the names like normal. It's not even convincing.
+kseries1981 it hurts my ears. =/ the ifrit and bahamut
+kseries1981 isn't that how it's supposed to be pronounced? :/
+theodare Yes, it is. But his accent isn't there, so it sounds off. Just say Bahamut like 99% of the Final Fantasy fans say it.
moot.
Like how he pronounces 'ice' as diamond dust heavenly strike?
This list is basically every Final Fantasy XII's ship/sky fortress of the Archadian Empire xD
+Little Ryuko Matoi and i was saying to myslef , hmm , no ff12 summons , i guess this is enough :D
Lightx13
xD
AhahH yeah FF12 is the best
never met yiazmat 😂
Of course Bahamut is in first place we all love Bahamut or his counterparts like Bahamut Zero, Bahamut Sin, Neo Bahamut, Bahamut Fury, Bahamut Alpha, Bahamut Omega, Bahamut Eidolons, Bahamut Aeon, Bahamut Esper, Astral Bahamut, Dirge of Bahamut, Before-Crisis Bahamut, Crisis CORE Bahamut
Bahamut Hearts, Bahamut Hearts: Chain of Memories, Bahamut Hearts 2, Bahamut Hearts 2: Final Mix, Bahamut Hearts: 358/2 Days, Bahamut Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Bahamut Hearts HD 1.2 Remix, Bahamut Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, Bahamut Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, Bahamut hearts 3, Bahamut hearts 3 ReMind
Mobius Bahamut, Bahamut The Years After, Bahamut Interlude, Bahamut G-bike, Revenant Wings Bahamut, Bahamut Lightning Returns, Tactics Bahamut, Justice Monster Five Bahamut, Bahamut Type-0, Crystal Chronicles Bahamut, Echoes of Time Bahamut, Bahamut: The Crystal Bearers, Bravely Bahamut, Bahamut End Layer
Dissidia Bahamut, Dissidia 012 Bahamut, Bahamut NT, Bahamut Ocean: First Departure, Bahamut Trigger, Bahamut Quest Heroes: The World Bahamut's Woe and the Bahamut Below, Bahamut Stormblood, Bahamut Racing 3D, Super Bahamut RPG: The Legend of the Seven Bahamuts, Bahamut Hoops 3 on 3, Musashi: Bahamut Legend, 0 Day: Attack on Bahamut, Bahamut no Waku Waku Carnival, Sigma Bahamut, Bahamut Summoner: The Unsung Bahamut, The Bahamut Ends With You, Tactics Bahamut: Let Us Bahamut Together
Season of Bahamut, Bahamut Heavensward, Bahamut Record Keeper, Puzzles and Bahamut: Bahamut Tournament, Bahamut Masquerade.
Aaaaand finally after years of anticipation... Bahamut 7 Remake
Hades was outstanding. Attempts to inflict a ton of status affects all in one go. In FF7, it wasn't uncommon to have his enemies rendered sleeping-mini-confused-poisoned-blinded-frogged all at once.
Best Bahamut design is from "Final Fantasy 9" period..
FFX's iteration is close second, but yeah FF9's Bahamut gives the best rendition of its power!
Anima should be number 1. Most badass and by far most powerful
+LoganMartinsChannel technically knights of round are, next to odin
Most powerful would be Yojimbo, Zanmato kills ANYTHING in FFX.
Better double check the footage at 2:46. That's not from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, but from FFVII
I wouldn't say it should take a top 10 position as a summon, but XII's Ultima's summoning sequence is the coolest thing ever!
I knew it would be Bahamut, my fav Summon. But Omega Weapon is also cool.
Yes!! oh my god
Diablos and Eden from 8 deserve style points
Calling Anima number 1. That summon was crazy as fuck.
+elitebelt rip
hahhahhaha right
One of the few lists I don't have any problems with
I always kept Odin in VII just to see him throw out his epic gunge. Later on in Disc 2 in FFIX when he throws it out and destroys an island was so amazing.
He destroyed the town of clerya and it was essentially a tree surrounded by a sand storm
Diabolos from FF 8
+MC Mark Markson (MusicLover) Blew my mind the first time I saw him. "HOLY SHIT I JUST SUMMONED THE FUCKING DEVIL!"
J. Prior Yea. The design was awesome too. Literally a handsome devil :D
Quetzalcoatl it`s one if my favorites
The summons and storylines are what made me play Final Fantasy
Number 1 HAS TO BE Chocobo!!!
Eden from FFVIII will just turn everyone from this list to dust in 1 second
Not even a single Ivalice summon mentioned? /sigh
Considering obtaining Ultima n Zodiark is pretty hard,I dont think people bothers getting them, especially when Zodiac Spear n other weapons is easier to get
Zodiark is pretty easy to manipulate tho
Because FF12 is a game best left forgotten
+Torva Messorem ff12 was awesome :-)
Chris Ross
Oh gimme a break. :-/
yeah! And the magu sisters delta attack is powrful
No offense, but Shiva always took my top spot. Especially her version in FFX...that 'snap' at the end of her Diamond Dust move? No offense to Thanos, but she made that look COOL.
Thank you everyone, I'm here all week. :P
Where is Yojimbo, he should've gotten top 3 at the very least.
+keonisan I Agree Yojimbo killed SIn for me haha
+Rhys Willard he killed penance for me..
An optional summon that appears in a single entry of the franchise doesn't deserve to be on the list. I'm glad they didn't include him.
Top 10 Final Fantasy Limit Breaks
BUT IT WOULD BE TOO PREDICTABLE M8
We all know what it is
+CEGAMANX [the #1]
Shiva above Anima? Mojo should stop picking positions based on nostalgia...
Or you could stop being a bitch and deal with the fact this is there list of what they like best.
adam lane Picking by nostalgia is a disease spread all over the web. It just bothers me. No big deal. And I think they ask "do you agree with our list" for a reason, don't you think? If they didn't want hear opinions, they would block the commentary area.
Welben ribeiro da silva Bro you realize you just contradicted what you just said in the first comment LOL Nothing wrong with Nostalgia.Being a fan boy over a single summon is a disease.
This is classic. On one hand you rage that you don't like the list then when someone says hey its there list,You then try and flip flop on the post hahahahahaha
Shiva is a little famous you know, from the begining she existed
Amina was only in one Final Fantasy!
10. Ramuh (yeah... why not?)
9. Brothers (jesters)
8. Phoenix (help)
7. Leviathan (biblical)
6. Tonberry (slasher)
5. Shiva (classic)
4. Odin (one shot)
3. Cactuar (little less overkill)
2. Eden (OVERKILL)
1. Doom Train (badass)
Quite fascinating. I know that I'm terrible at making strategies on Final Fantasy. The mechanics are somewhat easy to understand, but the monsters are overpowering.
