I've a question about failed transactions. If a standart transaction fails, generally 20 percent of the gas burns and 80% percent come back to wallet. What happens when we set prioarity fee close to max fee for nft mints? I wonder will it burn all the fee or take %20 as usual.
Max fee includes priority fee. Transaction may fail for many reasons if it fails because of not enough gas - all the fee will be taken no matter how much is your priority fee
So i dont touch gas limit even if i am on a gas war be it on eth or bsc network am i right ? thank you in advance
I have a question as first time seller...what does "If this is your first listing with OpenSea, sellers must pay 2 transaction gas fees to setup their account. This is a one time fee that you will not pay moving forward." Does this mean even if the NFT is posted with a fixed price the seller pays gas for the first 2 NFTs sold?
Seller always pays for gas on his NFTs listings. That's why you won't see my listings unless I really want t sell something. Just listing on OpenSea can cost you sometimes 50$.
dear hi. i want to buy something in sprinterlands game website. my metamask is connected. my balance is more than enough, but before i could proceed, this error comes up in my metamask : gas fee can not be estimated. and there is a sentence below it : proceed anyway. when i ask to proceed anyways gas fee is estimated something around usd130! what should i do? BTW, I am on BNB smart chain.
So what makes you think the fee is wrong? 130 USD is a possible case
If you will define max fee as well as max priority fee as 2500 GWEI, so basically both values as an equal amount, the transaction will go through, right? I mean at the end of the day the max priority fee will automaticaly be calculated by network by subtract base fee from 2500 GWEI and putting the whole rest as max priority fee? Do I understand it right? Thanks in advance.

Gas Limit is a road to the execution of the operation. Usually wallet is calculating it for you. In general decreasing gas limit is a risky operation since if you won't have enough, you will simply fail the tx without any outome, but still will lose the money

No the fee is only for transaction, whatever is the cost of the NFT is a separate price
