- This is going to get very spicy. Which is why the remaining parts of this series will be unlisted however you can watch them on our discord (link in my bio). Please note, this is ... soooo fucking optional and requires a veeery specific set of circumstances in order to even happen at all (like, off the top of my head, you need to turn on a switch that is off by default in the MCM, you need to visit Ulfric after killing the dragon at the Western Watchtower but before visiting the Greybeards, you need have worn the Amulet of Mara for the final conversation in this video) and you need to actually choose to join the Stormcloaks. Dialogue was written by vaelyrea (who is secretly Khaleesi).
This is great, there's so much political basis to Ulfric eyeing a union with the Dragonborn - and I just love seeing Kaidan squirm... as always, loving the writing & voice acting - can't wait for this content to come out! ;U;
Well, Kaidan, the dragonborn feels the same about killing some fuu.. ice wraiths in the middle in somewhere.. Nowhere... In the cold. That's why we are going to Solitude and join the Empire.

I have never been too fond of Ulfric as a character (although he had potential for something more) but this one here is quite a hunk so I totally understand all the jealousy and spikiness in Kaidan's voice and actions. Maybe I will even try out this and join the Stormcloaks... just for a bit of fun and spice. It is always good to have options. Especially for multiple playtroughs . Thank you, K. Team!

PS. But if I'm being honest, Skyrim deserves better leaders than Ufric or Elisif/ gen.Tullius. None of them is fit to rule. But that's just me, ranting.
@@Angie-hn1ls I get your point…but... you can reason with Tullius - with Ulfric...not so much. And there’s something in saying - keep your enemies closer… in this case, you can keep both of your eyes on Thalmor...the other thing - I just can't stomach Ulfric! ❤

I support the Stormcloak’s cause, though I don’t agree with everyone on Ulfric’s side. How long are the Nords supposed to endure watching as their families and friends are being taken away by the Thalmor to be tortured & killed? How long are they supposed to wait for the Empire, which is a crumbling husk at this point, to finally get its act together and decide it’s time to fight? It’s cruel and unrealistic to expect that the Nords will accept being the scapegoat while the Empire idly gathers it’s strength. I could go on for even longer but I’ll stop it here. As for Ulfric and Kaidan, interesting dynamic. Can’t wait for the update to see how it fully fleshes out.
The Nords aren’t the only ones, the Imperials suffer as well, they also believe in Talos so not all are going to be willing to follow the Concordat. We simply don’t see their side of the story, not to mention the Thalmor, wherever they go, will be boasting how “they” stopped the Oblivion Crisis just to piss Imperials off and make them start something just so they can drag them off for claiming a “mere man” like Martin stopped it. Nobody that did not fully align with the Dominion from the get go is safe. Though the Empire is preparing for war, Tullius himself says that the Empire is fortifying the southern boarder, they realize this is the calm before the storm, they know a new maelstrom is coming, but they are bidding their time focusing on preparing. I hope to find out that the Empire was working from the shadows, gathering allies and getting Provinces to support them. The Nords are simply mouth over brain, they don’t see the larger picture, they don’t remember how Titus was gravely injured and lied to his troops sending the Forgotten Hero posing as him in the Battle of the Red Ring, how even though they drove the Thalmor from the city it is recorded that “the end of the Empire was imminent” saying the Thalmor had returned in force and had trapped the Imperials and Nord warriors within the walls with no escape.
The Nords want a scapegoat as much as anybody, just like humans in general, we want somebody to blame and the Nords simply want to blame an Empire that isn’t even rightly men’s. The Empire has taken many forms over the ages, the only one it belongs to is Akatosh, not the mortal vessels sitting on the throne. Talos did not create the Empire, it was Akatosh, he simply became Akatosh’s chosen vessel to bring it into a new era, without Akatosh they would be nothing. The Nords simply believe they are owed something that is not theirs, that never was, and never will be as long as the Divines hold the reins to Order and Peace. I don’t support the Empire, as we know it either, they believe they are the true rulers, they have the gall to believe that it is they who issue the decrees and laws, they who bring peace and stability. Yet they are just as blind and stupid, they are merely a vessel to Akatosh’s will, yet they will not believe it, only Alessia believed she was Empress through Akatosh. If the Empire truly wishes to return to power and be the Divine bidden rulers, then they must first take humility and remember that it is the Divines who are the ones in control of the Empire that is rightfully theirs. I do like the Ulfirc and Kaidan ideas though, I honestly never liked Kiadan as more than a friend, something about him just is not for me. It is interesting to hear this thought though, and I love his comment on Ulfric wanting the Dragonborn as that is definitely something that would happen in politics, any advantage given, especially in a powerful marriage which can produce powerful descendants, a ruler would attempt for that. So I liked hearing that Ulfric was eyeing the Dragonborn, most likely as a powerplay more than any thoughts of love.
as much as i loved jealous Kaidan there's nothing in tamriel that will convince me of join Ulfric.

@@dayannayanez1933 if you always play the good guy then why would you side with the people who tried to kill you just for crossing a border and restrict religious worship? Those don't sound like good guys to me. The thing about the skyrim civil war that most people fail to realize is that BOTH sides have good and bad views. Everyone just likes to falsely claim Stormcloaks are racist. sure a few are but they let you join them regardless of your race and Windhelm has more diversity than any other city in the game. Plus Ulfric literally challenged the former High King and he accepted. It wasn't murder it was Nord tradition.
Wow, this is interesting commentary. I’ve only ever sided with the stormcloaks once, and that was my very first playthrough. Ever since then, I’ve always sided with the Empire. I’m intrigued to see where this goes! Very well done!

As much as I love this I could never side with the storm cloaks. I can't stand ulfric. .ok I admit he is kinda hot.
I'll gladly take his side over the side that outlaws any entire sect of a religion, executes people for simply crossing an imaginary line or steals a horse, and allows elves to commit literal war crimes in their land and pretend nothing is happening. Is he a bully? Maybe a little. He's a nord. Is he a criminal? No. He challenged the high king fair and square and used a weaker version of the same powers we use to beat him. You don't see anyone trying to execute us for using those powers....well....anyone other than the empire that is.

Wow theres a lot of people here who dislike or straight up can't stand Ulfric Stormcloak. Can someone tell me why though? Has he actually done anything that has caused him to be given the moniker of racist? He's the Jarl who let the Dunmer into Windhelm in the first place.
Like I'm actually curious, because the only side of Ulfric I've seen is a patriot who has been fighting since he was 16 and knows that the Empire is completely done for due to corruption and cowardice.
He let the Dunmer in, sure. But he's also the one keeping them in the slums. If you join the Empire, you can hear the new Jarl talking about plans to improve the treatment of the Dunmer in the city and even talking about letting Argonians in.
You see the side he wants you to see. Now, I usually stay out if the civil war, but I sympathize more with the Stormcloaks because I hold a grudge, but yeah, Ulfric has some problems too.
I really wish there was a choice other than "Join a shortsighted, power hungry racist", "Support a failing empire of cowards" or "let both sides kill each other, helping the Thalmor in the process"
@@stevenhiggins3055 He does not infact keep them in the slums. We learn from multiple sources, including a Dunmer woman and Nirayne who is an Altmer. They say that the Dunmer refuse to integrate or move out of the slums. They've sequestered themselves there. The Argonians aren't allowed in the city because of the high Dunmer population, because the Argonians are one of the reasons the Dunmer are refugees in the first place.
And because of this mentality, what reason does Ulfric have to help them? They add nothing to his cause, refuse to integrate with his people, and some of them are sympathetic to the empire. It's frankly a waste of resources.
And Brunwulf says he wants to help the Dunmer, but he can't right now because of "opposition" from some citizens. It's an excuse.
Ulfric didn't let the Dunmer in. That happened 200 years ago, after the Red Year in 4E 05, the current year being 4E 201. I don't think Bethesda really understand how time works if they've been refugees for almost 200 years and nothing's changed.
It does make me wonder why people blame Ulfric for an issue that's been around for two centuries before he even became a Jarl. It's not like the Empire has lacked for wealth to send their way to help out in assimilating the refugees into Nord society. Of course, Ulfric's not done much to help, but I do also question; With what wealth? He's trying to win a civil war and quite obviously (as is evident from his troops gear) the Stormcloaks are not the wealthiest of factions. Their wealthiest hold is The Rift, which is rife with corruption and thievery.
Its all cause of muh poor dark elves.These people never played morrowind and it shows.The dark elfs are racist as hell and enslaved argonians and khajits and thought humans were nothing more than animals till talos kicked thier ass and made them bow.I don't care how the dark elves are treated,they got what was coming to them.The empire is a dying husk too at this point,no need for skyrim to remain loyal with no septims around.

Ya know...if you made an Ulfric romance mod with THIS version of Ulfric...yeah. That would be frickin' awesome. Like a spinoff from Kaiden's tale. The voice acting here is absolutely top notch! Love it so much! Thank you for posting this!
Trivial, but I love how "The Reins of Castamere/A Lannister always pays his depts" is just casually playing as the background music. It fits the Stormcloaks. Kinda.

haha it IS usually my stormcloaks music but i think i have it set to also play occaisonally in cells that are tagged with the Jarl's Palace keywords so it plays in dragonsreach sometimes too. its an amazing song.

For those who have issues joining the Stormcloaks, I'm going to be revising my "Stormcloaks for Good Guys" to ensure it is 100% compatible with this mod!
That mod is stupid.Oh boo hoo my poor dark elves.Something tells me you never played morrowind.Dark elves are racist as hell and considered themselves gods and were slavers.Other than that i see no other thing racist about stormcloaks who want to fight for thier land and people.The empire are puppets and dead with no septims.Only problem i have with stormcloaks is not making an alliance with the argonians cause argonians would make great allies in the fight against the dominion.
Try and change the dialogue in your mod then. I've seen my friend used it once, and the dialogue options seems overly moralistic, naive, and frankly stupid. Try and make the dialogue more mature, reasonable, and sounds like someone that tries to negotiate maturely (like you're in a job), instead of a childish virtue signaling.

Although that being said however, I agree that as far 'racists' go, the Stormcloaks are laughably tame, even if we compare to irl. Plus, fighting for your own land and keeping the right to self determination is always a good thing. Don't know why these idiots can't see that. It's always muh morals with them.
I've really been enjoying yours and BWB's videos on all the updates. I'm literally in the middle of a playthrough now and just updated yesterday, so I missed a lot of the earlier dialogue. I also play a male character (yea, I know, bizarro right? lol) and romancing Kaidan as a male DB is very different than all the attention the female DB gets.. so it's an interesting take. I have to thank all of you guys' hard work in creating a companion character that truly works for all different playstyles and lifestyles. THANKS GUYS FOR THE BEST SKYRIM MOD EVER!

Oh. As one that supports Ulfric and the Stormcloaks, I like this version of him. He looks warlike and manly, as well having the regality of a king. I still prefer Female Ulfric (especially the Sha version), but hey, this one is just as amazing. Also, Kaidan should really be quiet about things he doesn't know. He's coming off as really childish and moronic here.

um. well the empire has fewer interesting characters unfortunately. tullius is kind of a drip. we did do some interactions with firebeard and a few other minor characters. maybe we'll do more next time.
