Rarran singlehandedly reviving hearthstone with these videos. So many people in the comments say they came back because of you, and I did as well. I hadn't played in a couple years but I've always gone and looked at the cards every time a set is released. I'm surprised just how many cards I myself know despite not playing the game.
Hello, sorry for my english, I'm @Maikco in Hearthcards Community and I made the 07:23 card, Satyr Vendor. The fact that Alliestrasza believed my card was real just explode my mind and I am very happy right now :) hahaha thank you for that fresh and funny content!!
Rarran is singlehandedly piecing the hearthstone community back together. Inventing several new video formats which are so interesting to watch takes creativity
he also has been experimenting with play formats in his videos like the naxx format and ben brode format, which I kind of want to try out with a sealed or draft condition between some friends. He is doing a lot for this game rn.
If Rarran only brings meta cards for Mark that might make it somewhat tough xD but yeah Mark sure plays a wide variety of obscure cards and decks on a daily basis.
he plays* a lot of obscure cards that never see play. That man is scraping from the bottom of the barrel every video and he still wins games because he is just that good
This was a really good episode. Love this series keep it going. Thijs would be an awesome person to get for this series with all the meme decks he's played
Love the video! I’ve recently thought of an idea for a new series, where you bring in people who stopped playing hs a few expansions ago, and show them cards from recent expansions mixed with fan-made cards And, well, they should try to guess does this card actually exist or not :D
Man. Gotta hand it to you, seeing hearthstone content creators from awhile back again in this format is so fun. Very clever idea. FInally got my sub lmao.
Can you try do this with Amaz? Idk if he's completly done with HS community but seeing his face and talking about this game would make my day, as he did when i was growing up.
this is awesome big props rarran for trying to customize these games to each streamer, makes it way more enjoyable I like the difference between watching the casual/slightly cooperative ones where people don't go super hard and you trying to destroy kripp - good vibes on both sides
Hi Rarran, I absolutely love this series, especially since I manage to guess right every time lol. May I ask if you're planning to do more custom card review videos? I loved the few of these you've done and I'd really like to see more.
8:22 If this card was real, I definitely would have considered playing it in mill rogue. If you hit a removal spell, draw effect, bounce effect, etc... you benefit more than your opponent, while filling up their hand with useless cards. Along with King Mukla and other draw/bounce effects, this would help prevent your opponent from drawing anything useful. The only reason I knew it wasn't real is because I would have definitely played it if it was.
Trick Totem is such a fun card, sometimes you get 2-3 extra wildfires in your hero power mage deck, sometimes you cheat it out with coin thinking it will be a snowbally effect only for it to kill itself on the first spell
For the first section, I wonder if you could do a version that really is just a blob of color and see if people recognize the card. Like blur the imagine, or see what DALLE generates when fed card names.
It would've been impressive if she figured out Phalanx Commander was wrong bc a phalanx is a defensive position, and it would be weird if it supported rush minions.
I'd love to see one of these with back and forth. A guest that brings cards for Rarran to guess as well. So they both feel the stress and the fun, lol.
I love this so much. Besides being such a great format, I love seing all these creators that i have watched at some point over the years. The only ones missing would be Habu, Amaz, Hafu and then I'm complete
I started playing hearthstone right as Rise of Shadows came along, and then stopped playing at Forged in the Barrens. I am shocked that I knew all three close-up card arts instantly, and which set they were from
I wonder if it might be good to reveal what the real card looks like to the audience earlier than before it is shown in the series, but of course not right at the start. I personally played the last time in, I think, 2016? And I don't know most of the cards, and I would get not a single one right. So while it's fun for me to watch them guess, I have no idea if they are close to getting it or not. Now doing above mentioned would also mean the excitement is lost to finally see the card, so it would need some evaluation which one is more enjoyable. For me personally, I'd enjoy getting a spoiler 5-10 seconds in (or a fitting point) and then seeing if they get there. But then again, I am also a person who enjoys major spoilers for shows and focusing on what the show does to lead there.
I’ve known of Allie for a long long time and watched her content sometimes but never really connected to her personality until this video. Another masterpiece by Rarran helping me rediscover quality content creators
you should get some of the lesser known content creators out there, i feel like having the grinning goat guys here, merps and adwcta would be really fun here and give a really good arena perspective on things
Allie's experience with DH is exactly the same as mine, I didn't touch it once until Sunken came out and then I mained it to legend and still have like only 50 wins. And I didn't jump on the bandwagon either, I crafted the quest and made a very similar deck to the one that ended up getting Drekthar nerfed lol
Add a specified number of hints at the begining of each game. I'd say 2 would be good, considering the length of the episodes. If a contestent asks for a hint, rarran must answer any question about the card (excluding asking if it's right or wrong) that would be too easy. But an example would be "is the text of this card correct? Are the stats correct etc etc..."Can't fault allie for it because they're really is no set rules. But i think these rules would make it fair and fun for anyone
I had the same reaction to Demon Hunter. I am a big fan of control decks like demon-lock and I left the game I think at the end of Knights of the Frozen Throne. Now I just watch videos like these and enjoy that quite a lot
first episode where i got everything right, even the artwork ones at the beginning. it definitely helped that there was no expansion (background emblem) changes because i suck at remembering those. anyways 100% yay me
This was so much fun! Thank you for having me on!!! This series is too good. Keep ‘em coming! 😆

so happy to see you here

This series is genius content, so enjoyable to watch! Brought me back to Hearthstone after 4-5 years of not playing.
I didn't come back to HS, but I do enjoy this content despite not playing HS since rise of shadows

Great card!
Great Idea!
Out of all the completely fake cards, yours was definitely the most real looking, from the statline to the effect and the artwork and name.
It's a matter of time before you get Kibler or Thijs in this game show.
Kibler could also do a Magic episode as well most likely due to his time in that game.
@@amethonys2798 Get PV's help and ask Kibler if those are real Magic cards
@@andreicmello ooo that would be a fun one
oh I love Thijs, haven't played HS in years, but he was the streamer I enjoyed the most. Easy!
Brian Kibler. Now that is a name I have not heard in a long, long time
you just keep teaming up with amazing creators and we're here for it
and also with Alliestrasza
Allie was probably thinking about Madame Lazul from the trailer because she had the cards in front of her in that.
To be fair I 100% said Madame Lazul when he showed the art
I was almost certain it was the one who draws cards for secrets played
@@andreicmello I said Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon. Also close haha
@@hienosaatoa Yeah, that one.

You HAVE to do this with Mark, he will absolutely crush everyone. True master of Hearthstone
This would be so sick
yeah Mark would be great, he plays the cards no one else does, would smash it.
If Rarran only brings meta cards for Mark that might make it somewhat tough xD but yeah Mark sure plays a wide variety of obscure cards and decks on a daily basis.
Markmckz would be a cool guest on your show. The guy knows a looot of obscure cards that never saw play.
That would be a cool episode for sure
Markmckz would wreck this sho2
Mark or Dane would be a cheat code. They would both annihilate this.

Haha Allie powergamed it a little bit just saying “somethings wrong here”😂
leaves her open to our judgement after the fact hahaha it's just as rarran said
Can you try do this with Amaz? Idk if he's completly done with HS community but seeing his face and talking about this game would make my day, as he did when i was growing up.
You are a pioneer in ccg content creation. Keep it up, all these videos are 🔥
This is so fun to watch! I want to see a fan episode of this. Let's see how well we actually stack up against Rarran.
On the apexis smuggler, I went:
The stats are wrong. And the effect. And the name seems wrong.
Wait a minute.
for Phanlax commander it makes a lot more sense that it would work with taunt since Phanlax is basically a shield wall which you have to get past.
I'm pretty sure that is Madame Lazule on that deck of lunacy artwork
this is awesome
big props rarran for trying to customize these games to each streamer, makes it way more enjoyable
I like the difference between watching the casual/slightly cooperative ones where people don't go super hard and you trying to destroy kripp - good vibes on both sides
I LOVED Trick Totem. I always used it. Even with how it would often backfire, hehe.
The series is too good. It brings back the memories that i have in hearthstone like planning on what deck to build because im f2p xD.

This video gives me flashbacks to when I used to study for 20 minutes for an exam and then think "I'll be fine".
Would love to see savjz on here, keep up the great vids x
For the first section, I wonder if you could do a version that really is just a blob of color and see if people recognize the card. Like blur the imagine, or see what DALLE generates when fed card names.
"rush minions have +2 attack" is the best joke . (because of "your charge minions have +1 attack")
Rarran is 1 of the 4 or 5 top reasons hearthstone is still alive. Thank u for all u do brother.
I loved the thumbs up with Seaforium Bomber when Allie said red was the right color lol! Love this series
It would've been impressive if she figured out Phalanx Commander was wrong bc a phalanx is a defensive position, and it would be weird if it supported rush minions.
I know what he was trying to say at 15:55 but what he said made no sense lmao
Wow loved this one! Can we have one with Kibler? I think it would be a lot of fun.
Rarran's poker face is playing blackjack and losing.
I'd love to see one of these with back and forth. A guest that brings cards for Rarran to guess as well. So they both feel the stress and the fun, lol.
We need the jeopardy master himself, Ridiculous Hat.
Rarran this series is the only hearthstone I watch anymore
I can't believe you got THE Myra Rotspring to be on your show!
pplleeeaaaassseeee get danehearth on here, he's been slugging wild since day 1 no breaks he'll crush this im sure of it
Bit of a cop out just saying its wrong but you can't say why, that's the whole point lol

I love to watch rarren just giggle while people try to remember the card :D
I didnt watch her that much but for some reason seeing her made me feel so nostalgic
"There's something wrong here."

Allbof these players that don't play anymore break my heart.
I started playing hearthstone right as Rise of Shadows came along, and then stopped playing at Forged in the Barrens. I am shocked that I knew all three close-up card arts instantly, and which set they were from
Love those 'Dang it!' Reactions 😂. Everyone must have it at some points.
Now we need to get Pavel here, if we haven’t already
One of the best videos in this series! The smuggler card was an epic fakeout
who's next? kibler? amaz? toast? Thijs? BEN BRODE? hafu?
man love this series
Your version of grand master antonidas totally should have been what the card was for the archetype
It would be fun to see Disguised Toast here, to see how much he remembers the game.
I wonder if it might be good to reveal what the real card looks like to the audience earlier than before it is shown in the series, but of course not right at the start.

Rarran she did not do well lol. She got all of them wrong.
I’ve known of Allie for a long long time and watched her content sometimes but never really connected to her personality until this video. Another masterpiece by Rarran helping me rediscover quality content creators
@1:26 In my head I was so smug thinking it was Sayge.
Yeaaaaaaaah I was waiting for this to happen. Love you both.
I feel like she almost got tricked the most yet but for me personally these were the hardest cards yet
Hope to see more of these with all the veteran players 💙

Always nice to see Ali! Love this series! Crossing fingers for Kibler and Toast next🤞
MarkMcKz needs to be on here - He knows ALL the obscure cards!
Golden content here. Rarran thanks a lot!!
with the satyr vendor, unless im forgetting one, all vendors' names are *thing they sell* vendor so satyr vendor seemingly is selling satyrs
im with allie, idk if i've ever even really looked at a cards art before, like i could maybe get doomsayer and loothoarder?
7:00 Thinking about it, a Phalanx is a defensive shield-wall so taunt being +2 is logical
if there isn't only 1 thing wrong, then you can say "no." then they know it's either 0 or 2
Mark McKz would be great on this. He plays so many weird decks I’m sure he has some out of the box card knowledge.
For the longest time I thought that Silverback Patriarch was a tree snake and Sylvanis still looks like a chicken from a distance to me.
8:58, I didn't know what was wrong with it, but I knew it was fake purely because it didn't end with a full stop.

I don't play Hearthstone and I caught Phalanx Commander's thing, because a phalanx is defensive and not for rushing.
I'd love to see Slyssa in this show too.
I feel like this game would be better if there always was a change in the card :)
I had to stop on deck of lunacy... PTSD stronk
It really says something about my hours about how many i got right
