    Hazmore seat was the best decision I made for my summit. Highly recommend it.

    I have the Hazmore seat and backrest installed on my Summit. Made alk the difference in the world. Quiet and actually packs together easier. Spent 90% of last season in it. 2 sits this season with it. Good luck.

      *all the difference. Also have the stabalizer straps and they do lock the stand to the tree.

      Definitely a great product all around. I was just in it again this morning. Good-luck this season and keep enjoying the outdoors!

    Love my silent seat, game changer honestly. I zip tied an old windbreaker from my sons for those late winter NY sits.

      Silent seat is great. Really love how it moves out of the way when I stand up. Really give me the full use of the platform. Not a bad idea with the windbreaker. Good luck in the outdoors and have fun.

    You’ll really like the stabilizer straps for your climber. Use them on my Goliath and it really locks the upper and lower to the tree. Super stable and no worries about bumping the upper part of the stand loose

      Yes, I started using them and they are great!

      Definitely recommend the third hand stabilizer straps.

      Third hand stabilizer straps are a game changer. You don’t have to worry about the top falling if you lean on it when making a shot, not to mention made packing up with my back pack faster. Buy them you will not regret it!

    Quick tip…
    You should have an extra Treestand tread left after doing your bottom platform. Take the extra tread and cut out pieces for the metal contact points that cause noise. This will ensure that it deadens the clanking sound the stand makes when nesting and taking apart 🤙🏻

    • @LemonRiverOutdoors
      @LemonRiverOutdoors  Год назад +1

      Yes you will have an extra tread piece left over. That is a great idea to use it up. I use a camo mole skin for most of those spots on a treestand. Thank you for great tip and thank you for watching.

    what summit stand would be the best for shooting a bow while sitting. Thanks. Dont like the open shot.

      @LemonRiverOutdoors  Месяц назад

      Other than the open shot it’s pretty hard to shoot sitting down in a summit climbing stand.

    What camo moleskin did you use on the frame and where did you get it?

      I forget what brand but I think it was one off Amazon.

    i would be hesitant to depend on a zip tie to hold my weigh in the seat

    • @LemonRiverOutdoors
      @LemonRiverOutdoors  Год назад

      I’ve had no problem with the zip ties and I’m about 220lbs.

      I agree that trusting zip ties isn’t a good idea. I’ve had zip ties on tree stands break (the ones that hold the padding on) so I used parachute cord to lash everything. Plastic gets brittle over time and one of my summits is 20+ years old and I keep it in the woods all hunting season.

    What are the black strips you put on base where you get them?

    • @LemonRiverOutdoors

      Those are the Hazmore Tree Stand Rubber Treads. They are really nice and I highly recomend adding them to your tree stand. hazmore.net/collections/hunting-and-tresstand-accessories/products/tree-stand-rubber-treads

    Where did you get that camo mole skin?

    • @LemonRiverOutdoors
      @LemonRiverOutdoors  Год назад

      Not sure where I got that set from but if you Google “camo moleskin silencing tape” you can find one you like. I really like one that come as a sheet that I can cut out. Thank you for watch and good luck in your hunting season.

    Will my knees hit the bar ? Summit mini viper.

    • @LemonRiverOutdoors
      @LemonRiverOutdoors  Год назад

      I’m sorry but I’m not sure if your knees will hit the bar. I’m 5’10” and I have room in my stand. Also the Hazmore setup does not cause any restrictions in the stand.

  • @willh884
    @willh884 Год назад +1

    The seat sits more level with bar…… allows more clearance for Bowhunting…. I am about to purchase the dual threat but feel better about my son hunting out of my old summit with the bar around it and of course the safety belt

    • @LemonRiverOutdoors
      @LemonRiverOutdoors  Год назад

      Yes you do sit a little more level with the bar. With the ease pushing the seat back you have plenty room to get around the bar when stand for bow hunting.

      It’s also call silent skin. It has a few names. But it gives a soft edge to metal.
