- I've always liked this song from Portal 2's soundtrack, and have wanted to make something based off of it for quite a while now. I think I managed to achieve a fairly accurate recreation of the original song, so then it was just a matter of gradually layering other improvisations on top of that.. for 12 minutes apparently.
Similar to my last Portal inspired composition, this is so long because I wanted to somewhat capture the more dynamic nature of Portal 2's soundtrack while making it, which means I tried to gradually introduce different variations throughout the song rather than having a more traditional linear approach. A lot of work went into trying to get this to sound close to the original style of Portal 2's soundtrack, but I also wanted the cover to have some more unique elements.
Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out and I'm glad to have gotten a chance to cover this song. I really like the original, and all of the Robot Waiting Room tracks for that matter - but this one always stood out to me so I'm happy to have managed to make something like this.

@@JWakelinMusic Ремикс звучит в самом деле превосходно, мне вообще нравится данная композиция в оригинале, сразу представляется зелёные луга, солнце, яркий солнечный день, чувствуется спокойствие и умиротворение.
Но, оригинал звучит более мыльно, в твоём же ремиксе все инструменты слышатся отдельно, это и добавляет мелодии простоты и ясности
