"Saving Lives with Narcan" | Dr. Christopher Boe | Recovery Reinvented 2022

With the record number of drug overdose deaths plaguing our nation - one of the tools at our disposal to fight back is for everyone to carry and administer naloxone should an overdose situation occur. Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, is a prescription medication that temporarily reverses an overdose to heroin or other opioid drugs - blocking the effects of opioids in a person’s system, helping to restore breathing. Narcan saves lives and offers people more opportunities to find their pathway to recovery.
