Wow, you really go deep and nuanced into describing scents. I've never heard the other fragrance reviewers break down fragrances to that level. 😁👍
Always interesting to see a new house pop up. Black Anubis seems like it would be right up my alley. Sphinx Signature and Damascena sound great to me too because I like fruity and rose scents. (And by the way, Anubis is pronounced Ah-New-Bis - he was the Egyptian god of the dead with the body of a man and the head of a jackal - in other words, a badass)
I'll be getting my nose on some of these in the next few days myself. Can't wait for that. Lalique is originally a glassmaking company. They may be producing these bottles.
As someone that almost only uses gourmand fragrances, favorites being Alexandria clones, im torn between tabac citron vanille, first date, and sphinx signature. I need a fruity and fresh fragrance but i also dont want to force that either. Tabac citron vanille seems to have all the perfect notes with tabacco, vanilla, honey, and the bright citrusy fruits but it doesnt seem like it would be what id expect it to smell like. First date seems super appealing as well, but not sure how it would play into my usual preferences. Sphinx signature seems like a safe option but i dont usually like incense and all the woody notes worry me that it might be overly dry/powdery (i like it smooth and or creamy).
UGH!!!! I missed the premiere!! Water started dripping from my ceiling... LITERALLY the second I clicked on my notification. BUT.... have no fear... I'm a general contractor and I.... Who cares 🤷🏻, I'll get my eyes on this after a trip to Lowe's and a quick roof repair. But just a bandaid until I have time for a face-lift.

Just got a sample of Black Anubis and I get Baccarat Rouge vibes!!
On skin Black Anubis is so much better the saffron and grapefruit really come out! And you are right it is a very clean scent!

Gosh Ross. This brands atomisers are like hoses. Good ploy to sell more juice. The Emerald green bottle would look great on my scent shelf. Good shout from the other frag head, looks like Lalique bottle design, classy.
I wore the Demascena last night not realizing it was a woman’s fragrance and the compliments I got wearing it was very surprising. I have never wore a fragrance that stopped so many people wanting to know what I was wearing. My wife and I were in a bar and a group of women wanted to smell me, I think it made her a little uncomfortable with the attention I was receiving. This is a killer fragrance for men, I promise. Colder weather night out type smell.

@@topg3200 I thinks it a scent that most women don’t expect on a man. They are used to Savauge, Creed, ect…. So this stands out from everyone!!! It’s unique, smells amazing, and lasts all day!!!

I’m a man and I wore damascens out with my wife. I had women compliment me left and right, so women absolutely love this. I’m sure you would too. This scent actually changed my mind on wearing floral sweet colognes. I know it’s a women’s fragrance, and you would probably love it, but men can wear it too. At least confident men that aren’t scared of a variety of smells.

Got the First date - Damn, it is a monster very coconut and lime, very fresh and nice my wife loooooves it. Also got a sample of wood of the gods - prob one of the best woody scents i have ever smelled - Not heavy just very airy nice and almost a relaxing scent
Ooh! Sweet fruity, floral with a tuberose leaning. Makes me think of Nishane's Hundred Silent Ways.

Ross, I was curious about customer service for Sphinx Fragrances. I preordered Oceanic Symphony and I can’t get a response from anyone there. Anyone else had any issues with them?
I haven't heard of any other issues aside from this
