The Edifier R2750DB has a very natural sound, one of the best heard on this channel I think. The S360DB on the other hand has some recessed mids which makes them sound hollow.
Most of the s360/s350 videos dont have this boomy crappy bass and lack of mids... so I took a flyer and bought a set to try. for the future comparisons of S360DB with something else or completely other speakers, test all speakers with no EQ but if speakers have bass, treble or mode changes etc. you should use these features to made them sound the best because in this video S360DB sounds like garbage which is not true at all and i know that cuz i have it... for example here you could lower the bass with bass knob or another example Edifier S3000 PRO has different modes so you should pick the best sounding mode and then compare, so my point is, use features and setting speakers have with no additional software or hardware EQ and other stuff that are not part of the speakers, maybe SW EQ which everyone could use in the end but if you want to test the most "out of the box" as possible then at least use settings on speakers to make them sound the best as possible
@@ercanylmaz967 if it was i would accept it and i would sell it and buy something better or would not buy in the first place 😀 but i think you can go better at that price point but you have to wait for subs on sale and buy 2.0 speakers with sub out, lets say R1700BTs and get a sub if you want / need one but good subs are going for around 300€ in Europe but sometimes are on sale for 200€ anyway, my point was if some product have a feature that you can use to make it sound better why not use it and this is simple bass knob im talking about and i agree, they tuned it badly, there is just too much bass, i have bass knob turned down -4db and even than i completed this adjustment, i used simple software EQ 31hz: -0,5db, 62hz: -1db, 125hz: -2db... but for simpler comparison video he could turned only that bass knob to -5 or -6 db and then theres sub placement but lets keep it as simple as possible 😁 i just mentioned this cuz i found a review where guy even turned that bass knob up +3db... btw if you are looking for some speakers or headphones i could help you, im not expert but for a past year i jumped on "higher quality sound" train and im watching and reading not only reviews but about how it all works etc and i can tell, its hard to protect your wallet when this gets you 😀
something is really off on this video. i have the s351db and it sounds very clear with good mids. bass is very precise. the s360db is actually better but sounds like shit on this video.
The thing about RUclips reviews is that too much bass will saturate most microphones and muddy up everything else, specially those "big sounding" speakers.
I did get the R2750 in part after watching an earlier video of urs. Thank you for all the help!!!!! Thank you @Digital Stereophony. Your videos are so damn helpful, and no one is doing what ur doing. Really helps people, especially with some outlook of Edifier for so many out there. S360DB does sound quite V in comparison. I think it was a wise move, picking up the s2750db, and for 80 dollars less! [not to mention, I'll be adding a sub or two with this, so no missed low ends!
@@JosephKarthic I had a 12inch Chinese sub with my R2600s - so I'm going to assume one will need a sub with the 2750db's also. I don't have my system with me atm by I would recommend any decent 10inch or 12inch sub with these. I have a couple of 10inch ones - found a Taga Harmony TWS-90 at a good price, very nice sub. Anything similar should work well. A sub will definitely 'complete' the sound.
@@divinginthedeep thanks for the help, which one is better S2000 mkiii or the 2750db? Also i dont see this 2750 in edifier website..only the 2850, is this genuine?
@@JosephKarthic The 2850 is most definitely genuine - I think they must have just released it - probably the bluetooth successor the the r2800. I've heard that the s2000 is better on specs and probably even sound. It is the premium one in these. But you'd still be looking to add a sub anyhow. The 2850 though may be quite powerful - the bass driver is 8 inches, so that's quite a lot. On this channel, there are soundtests of the 2800 I think and on the rest of YT also, so I think 2850 and s2000 may be comparable, 2850 may have more volume and bass, s2000 may have better sound quality. Again, that's what I think so, keep that in mind.
Actually i was asking abt the 2750db , maybe it's discontinued after 2850... Anyways i previously had Logitech z623 which failed after a power surge... Now 2750db is affordable to me and i add a sub later... Should i buy it ? Or is there better alternative at this price point?
Here is me hearing this video on my S360DB. Maybe it's you setup, or youtube, but the S360DB is bad in this video! But here in my setup (computer with not much space), the mids are a little bit recessed, but the highs and lows are perfect (V shaped). Still, I enjoy the mids a lot and I do have a 6XX headphone (king of mids). Still, they are obviously not a monitor speaker, but they are VERY fun to listen to and to see movies! The bass response is excelent and it extends better than the 2750DB,but it is not overwhelming at any point.
@@Darrentzx I love my S360DB. I went to the store to check all edifier models, and the S360DB is better than the s350DB! I would recommend it a lot, you just have to play with the bass positioning in your room. Because the bass is WIFI, it's very easy to move it! Also, compared to "studio monitors", i really think that they lack subbass, so the S360db is funnier to listen to
the sound Edifier S360DB is much more Havier and produce quality sound as well as the Edifier R2750DB voice is much more sharp but the problem with this is that if you listen to the song in a loud voice for a long time, then it will be annoying
I like R2750DB for more soft balanced sound, but it have background noise like R2700 model? 360DB good for wireless subwoofer and more compact size. Mb 360DB even have more clearly sound btw.
The only advantage of the S360DB is deeper albeit sometimes muddy bass. The R2750DB || is the clear winner in all other frequencies. This a case where cheaper is better.
S360db has better detail and clarity on high frequency.... but, too much and overall sound a bit boxy. R2750db lacking something or blank on low mid range. I believe both system can get better tone balance with nice EQ preamp add on.
I agree with your assessment, the S360DB has no trouble with any aspect of the sound spectrum when being fed by a good audio source, and this is key. I have mine connected to a Nu-Audio sound card and it sounds amazing. The great extra benefit with these speakers, although it drops the quality, is to simply turn off the sub late at night and just use the two speakers on low volume for a great audio experience when listening to music or watching movies.
Hi guys, I need help. I have visited several sound stores and asked about the Edififer R2850. I have been told that Edifier in general does not provide good sound and this has come to my attention because of the very good comments I have heard on this channel. In my country, Argentina, there is not a single store that has Edifier equipment, except for the official store which, unfortunately, does not have a showroom and they only sell their products online. In other words, I would have to buy it without having heard it. Could you help me decide? Do you think I should "risk" buying it? I have been told that Edifier is not hifi and provides sound far below any hifi stereo system. Is that true? Does this Edififer model worth it? Are there maybe some better options for the same price? Thank you and please excuse me for my bad English.
First of all is the quality of your sound card. I have an old Creative 2.1 but the satellites are changed with Sony speakers from a mini hifi system. The upgrade of the quality was dramatic and miraculous. The satellites are much bigger of course but I can't do without them. Another point is that you must put 3 cones under the SW. Bronze cones and at any size you can find. (Faster bass control - less boom). Cables also can destroy sound if cheap. I tested soooo many.. I prefer now HAMA cables (rca or jack 3.5) 5 star version those with the sleeve. Great overall!. I wouldn't give 500 € for 2.1 speakers. Try to find a good sub used and add a Sony 2 way pair.. (used I paid 10 € for it).. 💪😎👍 ❤️
i have a 2700 and it has really good bass ..you almost dont need a sub. great for music AND movies. just spin that bass knob. also have a 350db and its bass is a mess, difficult to adjust. it needs more controls . is the 360 better in sub adjustment than the 350? 350 vs 360 video??

would like to have an advise as I am still indecisive either S360db or R2750db+t5. It is for the usage of living hall with approximately 8-10 feet away. i love to have a balanced of vocal+mid+soft bass (movie/music/ps4 gaming). Hello, you're doing great job!! I own r2750db and i want to connect them to a sub. I am thinking about Yamaha NS-SW050, whats your opinion or do you have other suggestions? My room is about 10 m2, thank you!!
I listen with STX + r1280dbs. s360 is punch bass. Good to movies. Maybe war action games. 2750 is soft, smooth, full frequencies. Great for music. I like detailed and soft audio. But both are good. I want to see klipsh active PM.
I really like the sound of yamaha. It is close to the original music in this and your other videos, not too colored but has a deep, middle and high enough. I would like Yamaha HS8 as like Hifi speakers to listening to music and movies. Is this able to works? Left and right speaker from each other 2,5m and 3-4 from the listener. Thanks for help
The sound quality for me is a comparison of how much the sound seems to be passing through a water pipe. the more open the sound, the better. Comparing the two, it seems that the sound of the S360DB is passing through a water pipe while on the R2750DB the sound is there, in front of you.
Hello! I listen to rock music often and mostly I do lots of online conference calls. Do you have any suggestions under $150? I want to hear the voices very clearly.
R1700BTs cost $10 more ($160) than R1700BT ($150), but for the better remote, updated bluetooth, and ability to directly add a subwoofer-I would say it's worth it if you're going to go for R1700
@@jmporkbob I just bought the Edifier R1700BTs and they are good. However my only comparison are a set of $50 2.1 logitechs from 2005 or a $1250 5.2 home theater system. Now my biggest complaint is the vocals aren't clear. They sound muddy or dark to me. You could also use a sub to pull in some of the deep lows that the small 4" drivers can't recreate. I sent an email to Edifier and see if they have another product for me. I was looking at the S1000MkII or S2000MkIII but those are $350 and $400. You could get a set of headphones that do well in that point. I'd assume you'd be talking during an online conference call so you blasting other people's voices your mic is going to pick that up.
@@gueric9668 not really. There is a little benefit in adding T5 to R2750db. R2750db has good bass response on their own. Bigger subwoofer would be beneficial though
You have to be there listening to the actual speakers to appreciate the differences and not listening through other speakers, is it just me that thinks this?
I am thinking of doing something similar as my set up, may I ask if you do this can you still control the balance (treble/bass) from the knobs on the r2750? As in if I adjust the bass on the r2750 does that also adjust the output of the sub or do you need to control the sub separately?
r2750 is like a can sound, it's supposed to be like that? it's light, metallic and it resonates too long.. s360db sounds like a pyramid figure.. dunno, both suck!?
This is completely misleading! due to the differences in size, the microphones should always be placed at the same height, opposite the small speakers!!
All I can say after this great comparison is both are great.... It's just that one is Vanilla and the other one is Chocolate in flavor. Currently I'm using S350db for my Pc👌🏻 (great for movies and hip-hop music because of thudding bass and booming experience) And now planning to buy another one for the TV, I might end up with R2000db.

for the future comparisons of S360DB with something else or completely other speakers, test all speakers with no EQ but if speakers have bass, treble or mode changes etc. you should use these features to made them sound the best because in this video S360DB sounds like garbage which is not true at all and i know that cuz i have it... for example here you could lower the bass with bass knob or another example Edifier S3000 PRO has different modes so you should pick the best sounding mode and then compare, so my point is, use features and setting speakers have with no additional software or hardware EQ and other stuff that are not part of the speakers, maybe SW EQ which everyone could use in the end but if you want to test the most "out of the box" as possible then at least use settings on speakers to make them sound the best as possible
s360db is shit, just accept it😂
@@ercanylmaz967 if it was i would accept it and i would sell it and buy something better or would not buy in the first place 😀 but i think you can go better at that price point but you have to wait for subs on sale and buy 2.0 speakers with sub out, lets say R1700BTs and get a sub if you want / need one but good subs are going for around 300€ in Europe but sometimes are on sale for 200€
anyway, my point was if some product have a feature that you can use to make it sound better why not use it and this is simple bass knob im talking about and i agree, they tuned it badly, there is just too much bass, i have bass knob turned down -4db and even than i completed this adjustment, i used simple software EQ 31hz: -0,5db, 62hz: -1db, 125hz: -2db... but for simpler comparison video he could turned only that bass knob to -5 or -6 db and then theres sub placement but lets keep it as simple as possible 😁 i just mentioned this cuz i found a review where guy even turned that bass knob up +3db...
btw if you are looking for some speakers or headphones i could help you, im not expert but for a past year i jumped on "higher quality sound" train and im watching and reading not only reviews but about how it all works etc and i can tell, its hard to protect your wallet when this gets you 😀
something is really off on this video. i have the s351db and it sounds very clear with good mids. bass is very precise. the s360db is actually better but sounds like shit on this video.
The thing about RUclips reviews is that too much bass will saturate most microphones and muddy up everything else, specially those "big sounding" speakers.
R2750DB sounds better than the source on my R2700. Lol
[not to mention, I'll be adding a sub or two with this, so no missed low ends!
did you add the sub? what sub do you recommed for this 2750db?
Something in this video is off, because they did a videos on the 350b and they sounded significantly better.
Is the 2.1 setup good for pc in small room? I’m deciding to get the s350db or r2750db.
@@Darrentzx I love my S360DB. I went to the store to check all edifier models, and the S360DB is better than the s350DB! I would recommend it a lot, you just have to play with the bass positioning in your room. Because the bass is WIFI, it's very easy to move it! Also, compared to "studio monitors", i really think that they lack subbass, so the S360db is funnier to listen to
@@GabrielACGama alright i’ll definitely consider the s360db. Thanks!
S360DB too boomy
Vote for R2750DB
the sound Edifier S360DB is much more Havier and produce quality sound as well as the Edifier R2750DB voice is much more sharp but the problem with this is that if you listen to the song in a loud voice for a long time, then it will be annoying
Listening this through s360db =)
I like R2750DB for more soft balanced sound, but it have background noise like R2700 model? 360DB good for wireless subwoofer and more compact size. Mb 360DB even have more clearly sound btw.
No, R2750DB has very little hiss
The only advantage of the S360DB is deeper albeit sometimes muddy bass. The R2750DB || is the clear winner in all other frequencies. This a case where cheaper is better.
S360db has better detail and clarity on high frequency.... but, too much and overall sound a bit boxy. R2750db lacking something or blank on low mid range. I believe both system can get better tone balance with nice EQ preamp add on.
S360db better for movies, r2750db - better for music :)
R2750DB sounds WAY closer to the original track. S360DB mids sound recessed.
i have S360DB and its very good but you have to turn down bass, i have -4db bass on speaker and in EQ 31hz: -1db, 62hz: -1db, 125hz: -2db, 250hz: -1db
2750DB sound level seems higher so not easy to compare.
Greetings from Colombia, which of the two would be ideal for a small coffee bar?
EDIFIER is always on fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I Love so much EDIFIER speakers they never failed me on any way. But some more expensive brands failed do badly.
I bought R2750DB and waiting to its delivery. Now I will add a subwoofer. Not sure if I get T5 it may not make difference.
How the systems were connected (SPDIF or Analog RCA)?
S360 slighty better play from internal DSP, connected to optical toslink.
Scusami tra le 2 quale mi consigli? Grazie
Do you think you will ever get your hands on the Vanatoo t0’s?
sounds pretty good...i may step up to the S360DB with wireless subwoofer....or the S2000MK3 or the S3000Pro .... i need them for the TV .....which of the three would you get for movies / sports / everyday TV / and music....thx in advance...cheers from Vulcan Canada
Edifler R27500DB Sound
would like to have an advise as I am still indecisive either S360db or R2750db+t5.
It is for the usage of living hall with approximately 8-10 feet away.
i love to have a balanced of vocal+mid+soft bass (movie/music/ps4 gaming).
I was recommended to go for s360db as it has hi-res audio but still aint sure about it as i cant get my hands to test it in-person on the sound quality for both models.
appreciate your kind advise as you have done many videos of comparison. thanks.
Hey did you ever get the 2750's? I can't I even find any for sell!
Did you choose anything ? I am right in the same position : s360 vs R2750+ T5.
This same withe me, can't really decide between 360db and 2750 +sub. Was thinking about 2000MK2 or s2000pro
I really like the R2750DB, but aren't they two big when you have them on your desk and sit in front of your pc?
I have a similarly sized pair of speakers that I have on my desk. You just gotta have a big desk for it to work.
thanks! the R2750DB aren't bad for their price. the other pair is utter garbage IMO
What is the great option for R2750DB price?
I'm worried if it your speaker/headphone that actually sound horrible
S360 is way too boomy, R2750 destroys these in every way. The S360 might go lower with the added sub. But it’s a no go if the Mids are being affected.
boomy and tinny
The sound quality for me is a comparison of how much the sound seems to be passing through a water pipe. the more open the sound, the better. Comparing the two, it seems that the sound of the S360DB is passing through a water pipe while on the R2750DB the sound is there, in front of you.

Hello! I listen to rock music often and mostly I do lots of online conference calls. Do you have any suggestions under $150? I want to hear the voices very clearly.
Edifier R1700BTs
R1700BTs cost $10 more ($160) than R1700BT ($150), but for the better remote, updated bluetooth, and ability to directly add a subwoofer-I would say it's worth it if you're going to go for R1700
@@DSAUDIOreview Thank you!
@@jmporkbob Thank you!
