I use coin storage tubes for my seed beads, I use Harbor Frieght containers that have the 24 smaller containers in them for my larger beads and I use those 28 compartment containers for smaller quantities of smaller beads, and for large or larger quantity beads I use those cosmetic travel jars from Dollar Tree.
Yessss love bead organization videos! I am a TOTAL bead hoarder and can’t never find enough products and storage to make it all work and be able to see it
Muji makes round screw top jars that you can screw into one another. I used to buy them in Germany and Spain but I have never been to a miyuki in the USA so I don’t know if they have them but they work great
Love the small circular containers for seed beads and the square set for small beads, look so neat and tidy. I’m thinking of making a box from wood and placing the top of it facing me, I can then get my larger beads and put them all on beading thread and hang them like shanks, get some seed bead tubes for small findings and hang them there too then add shelves to place the circular boxes and the square ones to sit on then I can see everything I’ve got easily. Thanks for sharing, all ideas are flowing through my head now, I’m not gonna sleep tonight lol 💕💕🏴
I think it depends on what you want to store... medication organizers might not work great for something small like seed beads (especially 11/0) since they can slip out the gaps - I’ve made that mistake unfortunately
Gina, Hi! Finally, I might be able to send you this note. I just wanted to let you know, I have seed beads bags like yours too. I do have several Beadalon organizers, they come with 16mini and 34 small boxes and two medium boxes and I keep my Swarovski crystal in on box and use the other tow for my Czech glass beads, rondelles. I am running out of extra boxes to keep all my Czech beads in . I really like those divided boxes you showed us from BeeBeeCraft. They look really nice and would hold my excess beads I don't have homes for right now.
I have the containers from DT, I'm new to making jewelry & don't have a lot of beads, but they are growing...lol I have them in a not too clear square, snap lid container. Need to sit down & do more beading. Thanks for sharing some of your storage. Mary
i have the ones that stack as well never thought of putting them in baskets thanks for the idea. This might help me now that I live in a smaller area than I did before.
Hi Gina.. I can't believe I missed this video.. All these ideas are great.. I just found at my 99 store stackables that twist into each other.. I'll be picking up some more today.. Stay creative and Blessed..💎
My husband suggested using paper towel cores to aid in stacking those round containers. You could cut a seam down one side and place the bead containers inside the tubes. You could slide the round containers upward to access the one you want. Or you could cut a slot down the core, slightly smaller than the bead container’s width. You can see portions of each container, allowing you to pick the one you want. I upped his idea by suggesting PVC pipes, with the same cutouts. Also, a few years back I was desperate for someway to contain my ever increasing bead stash. Through eBay I purchased three cases of urine specimen bottles. They came sealed, with the same sealing tab as on hospital/doctors’ office ones. They are working marvelously, but I’m running out of them. I drop things frequently and between the plastic containers drop and bounce ability, the plastic lids seal snuggly and fit in my hand too., these work very well. Do you have a discount code for Beebeecrafts? Keep on making these storage videos, I really appreciate this sharing of ideas. 😊
Really cool idea about the paper towel holder/PVC pipes, KJ! So creative! Also the specimin containers! I love it! I was actually just emailed a code to beebeecraft, so thanks for asking! It is $5 off $40: BBCTGCP5 I am going to include it in the info section. Thanks for watching, and for sharing!
Thanks for the storage ideas Gina, I’m going to order some of those small snap top ones to store my crystals in and maybe some of my seeds as well. To make the clear round ones stackable just cut a small square of Velcro and adhere to the top and bottom, now they are stackable and secure ! 💞💫
You're very welcome, Kim! I think you'll really enjoy those snap top ones. I can't wait to get some more. Genius tip about the velcro! Thank you, I didn't even think about that!! :)
I enjoyed that, very helpful thanks for sharing Gina. I also like to find ways to store my beads, seed beads and findings so I recently want to Michael's, I get these small storage containers that are stackable love them nice fit. And I also use the containers at my local dollar store they work great to.
If you put the round seed bead containers in a box with square sides instead of a basket with rounded sides you could put the box on its side on a shelf so you could see what is in it better.
Hi Marie! I'm not sure I follow you exactly (my brain might just be fried), but do you mean if I put the round containers in a clear, square box with a lid-so they don't fall out, and stood on it's side? i'm sure there are better ways, that I haven't thought of. Always glad to get others' input. :) Thanks for watching!
No, not exactly. What I meant was... If you stacked the round jars in a square box (like you did in the crate)and then put the whole box with the stacked jars on its side the jars would all be stacked in an upright position so that sitting on a shelf you could look at them even from a distance and see what you have. You couldn't do this with the crate because of the rounded corners. Does that make sense?
Hi Gina. I have the ones you showed in the basket, they work good but i have them in storage bin and that's not working it's not really clear. I like the basket idea . Thank you for sharing your ideas i love them.Have a good weekend.
Thank you so much for sharing this!! I’m new to beading and I’ve been ordering from a few different places and am getting an actual stash!!! I hadn’t realized that a lot of the stores mail them in baggies rather than tubes and I wondering if I should order the tubes you showed in your other video, but this now gives me more options to consider! Oh, I’m the person that messaged you on Facebook and I now have the 11/0 Delicas so I can make your ring pattern!! I’ll definitely post it on your page! Thank you again for sharing! 💜💕💜
Hey Sharon! I absolutely love the tubes and acrylic shelving in my other video for my more expensive and unique beads. This option works better for my seed beads, though, and things I don't really wish to have visible at all times. I can't wait for you to make the ring pattern! I really think you'll enjoy it!! :)
You have inspired me to try to organize my beading...LOL.... I went to Aliexpress looking for storage containers and their prices are pretty good compared to other places I have seen.
Awesome! I haven't shopped Ali yet, and I need to also check out Wish and Joom. I'm glad I could give you some inspiration to organize. Thanks for watching!
I did have those containers from dollartree,I had put them in the shoeboxes dollartree has which hold 22 of those little containers each! While they hold a lot & it's the most inexpensive way to store all your beads there are two drawbacks-#1 the beads are not right there where you/I can glance & see what is there,#2 those containers if dropped when full the top does pop off due to the weight behind it,#3 the containers are not clear clear they are slightly frosted!I did mention this to Aleisha! But that's not to say I love this idea!Still,Rather do your idea of those tictac type containers on the acrylic shelves
Hi Kathie! Totally agree with everything you said about the DT containers; that's why I only use them for my seed beads. I love the other solution with the acrylic shelves for my more expensive and unique beads. Those are things I want to see all the time. :) Thanks so much for watching!
Very helpful. I appreciate seeing these items before I try to buy. I keep telling myself not buy more beads.... 🤣 😂 🤣 😂....I guess now I need to buy some good storage containers.
Do you know how many grams of seed beads might fit in the containers you show that are connected 4 to a row? I like that solution but I'm wondering if they would hold 20 grams of seed beads. Love that solution! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Suz! I don't know the exact gram count, but it is definitely less than 20g per little container; they are pretty small. I would say it is 10g or less per section on those. Thanks for watching! 💜
Thank you for doing these videos! I got the notebook baseball card sheets idea from you and it worked FANTASTIC! i do have some things that will not fit flat enough to store in that system so will look into getting the containers that you showed here. Thanks again!!!!
Awesome, Susan! I am so glad you were able to adopt that idea!! I love this solution for seed beads, and I still love my acrylic shelving storage for my more expensive/specialty beads. I am glad I could help inspire you! Thanks for watching! :)
Hi Arlene! You can purchase them online for shipping to Canada, but I am not sure how much the shipping is. It could be pricey, but you would have to add them to your online cart and see. Thanks for watching! 💜
Hi dear...I was wondering.. Do you store you beads by color or size?? As you know, I'm new and I'm just not sure. Also, do you keep all your items completely separated or do you bulk then?? Example... All your earrings supply in one place, And all your bracelet items together??I ask bc I use allot of those items for multiple projects. I need help. Thanks for reply. Really. 🌫️💜🌫️☮️🙏☯️🙏
Hi Connie! I have a few videos about my organization in this playlist, but more videos to come in the future, I hope! In short, it depends on the beads. Some things I store by color, and some by size. ruclips.net/p/PL0BaSjaXGEJaKMqrNLDGaTNbNP9qRRBmB Thanks for watching! 💜

Hi Connie! I love that you have found beading as a form of therapy, and a productive way to use the time and energy that you have! I have heard from quite a few individuals who are disabled, or are dealing with chronic illnesses of various forms, and they have expressed similar things. Hi! New to your page. Those containers with the sections of 4 smaller cubes, I have 2 of those and wished they came in a larger size. I got mine from wish.com for free but had to pay shipping for each which was $3.00 a piece. Thought I would share that with you but you have probably already ordered them. BTW! I'm loving the Jesse James beads also! Love your reviews and keep up the great job!!
Hi Jo! Welcome to my channel! I'm so glad to have you here. Thanks so much for the info about those containers - that's a great deal! So glad you are loving the videos. Lots more to come! 💜
The postage is too expensive from China and that is where the storage containers come from. I really like them but at the price of postage, I won't be ordering. Thank u 4 sharing.
I agree with you that the shipping is too high if ordering from their China warehouse. Best to stick with the US items that ship free over $25. Thanks for watching!
