It really sucks that C'Thun decks are dying because there will be no more cards for this archetype. Meanwhile, Yogg-Saron and N'Zoth will always have a small niche in Hearthstone.

honestly c'thun decks are dying because there's no space for gadgetzan cards; basically if you don't play gadgetzan you're fucked (pirate, jade, reno + kazakus are dominating the meta)
c'thun + jade deck sounds interesting in theory but maybe it will not be so viable

C'Thun is still kind of good, just not against aggro... therefore, not good in the curent situation.
Both C'thun decks are stacked with Taunts and Armor. They can both go tit for tat with Pirates easily.
Now Jade Midrange Shaman, there's an insta-concede.
Well, in that case, maybe I am bad against aggro :/
Tito Teixeira Soares de Oliveira No, even without aggro, it's terrible thanks to the great addition of Jade which summons giant minions instead of buffing one in your deck and it can keep going if you're a Druid. Very balanced
Ace Reaction, what the hell are you talking about? Shaman or Druid jade? Because you can't have both good. Shaman is only good because of the shaman cards, not because it generates huge jades (it doesn't), while druid is extremely weak for the first 12 rounds or so, and every c'thun deck can easily out tempo jade druid and cave its face in in that time.
olisk olisko did you even read my full comment and no, you're saying like Jade Druid's cards are terrible. Well they aren't. Let's take for example. Let's go through 5 Jade Druid cards on curve vs Cthun warrior.
Turn 1: Druid- Jade idol 1/1
Warrior- Pass
Turn 2: Druid- Wild growth
Warrior- The 2/3 that buffs Cthuun
Turn 3: Druid- 2/3 that summons a 2/2 jade
Warrior- 2/1 that deals 2 damage and buffs cthuun
Turn 4: Druid- Nourish to draw 3 card
Warrior- 4/2 that buffs cthun with divine shield.
Turn 5: Druid- Aya Blackpaw 5/3 plus a 3/3 plus a death rattle to summon a 4/4
Warrior- No turn 5 cthun card and can't clear the board.
So this is how the game has ended up after turn 5. Yes it won't be like this all the time but Druid is more likely to draw its Jade stuff than warrior because it has more and let's see how the stats are.
Druid-17/16 total stats. Next Jade card will be 5/5. More cards in hand and more mana crystals,
Warrior- 8/6 total stats. Cthun buffed up to a 12/12.
Now who is outtempoing who?
Even if the warrior had his 12/12 Cthun in hand, by turn 10' the Druid will already be summoning jades bigger than that.

max brandsma c'thun priest is legit,you have card draw,you are somewhat descent vs aggro decks and its for me a solid deck,definetly not top tier but reallllly solid

I have come from the far future of 2019 and C'thun decks are still around only in a different form with a different old God yet C'thun himself has my ever loyalty he has fallen into the realm of forgotten cards and will only fall deeper with each expansion. The meta has become even harsher and more aggro oriented while their counter (midrange) seems to have dissolved with C'thun as a forgotten archetype.

My best c'thun play was summoning that Crazed Worshipper (as priest) and keeping him healed and buffed. I think there was a time when I had him at 8/12. That same person then proceeded to sap my c'thun. Basically, he lost because he sapped my 20/20 c'thun like 5 times.

i still use it, i made the aviana + cthun combo way before gadgetzan, its more easy now with kun to create a +40 dmg atk cthun
