- The Changpas have a complicated relationship with snowfall. They need good winter snow for the grass to grow well during the summers. But too much snowfall can create trouble for them by burying the grass necessary for the survival of their animals.
A winter storm is the worst nightmare for the Changpas. And on the 3rd week of my living with the Changpas a winter storm is exactly what we got.

The documentary is very beautiful. Only eight minutes but lots of information. For me who live in Brazil and never saw snow it is incomprehensible that one can live in a place like this. Brave, men and animals with an impressive resistance to the cold.

People who never lives the lives of nomad think it is hardship, but they never know how joyous nomad feel living such life, sometimes it is hardship but you will never know that nomad had no suicidal cases, I feel pity for city life.👍
