Welcome to a Revelation Ironman stream I am doing as punishment for… something I don’t even remember. I am playing on Classic Lunatic, and if I get a Game Over, I have to start over from the beginning. The only way I am getting out of Revelation is by beating it.

Overhated as fuck in my opinion.
I get that the title is probably meant to be a joke however It's not really worth celebrating that Revelation will effectively become lost media unless you happen to own the rare special edition that includes Revelation on the game card. Nintendo's approach of having separate online services for every console is a disaster for game preservation.
And that is why we pirate. If we didn't, several things in this series would *already* be lost forever.
Good thing that the fans have stepped and preserved revelation for modded 3ds or emulation
how in the world is it going to become lost media? bro this game and it's dlc have been available via piracy for years. you can literally still download it directly to your 3ds if you have cfw on your system, via the hshop program. this is the same thing as saying pokemon firered is lost media lmao.
@@ItsNep Your argument would be a lot more convincing if we didn't have recent examples of Nintendo going after websites hosting pirated copies of their games and tools they view as being used for piracy. Also your comparison to Pokemon FireRed is flawed because FireRed and LeafGreen sold over 11 million copies on physical cartridges. However you try to slice it getting your hands on a legal copy of Pokemon FireRed is a lot easier and cheaper than getting your hands on a legal copy of Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation.
@electricindigoball1244 I'm not here to argue how easy or difficult getting a legitimate version will be. I simply think calling it lost media is ridiculous for something like this. Even if all rom sites disappeared, it still would not be gone to the point of considering it lost. Yes, getting a 'real' copy of revelation is now difficult and expensive, but it was not an obscure enough product to worry about it becoming lost. The amount of people who have private game backups and are willing to share is larger than you think. If easy access to these games were to disappear, it doesn't spell the end.

Rev is already gone the 3ds eshop is already closed the online servers have nothing to do with rev
So if you have the game downloaded, you can still play the game even after the Servers have shut down?
@@fluttershy6420 If for whatever reason (aside of the Special Edition cart) you bought the route, as long as the slim functions of the 3DS servers that will still work (like Pokemon Bank for example) you can still download it and play it legally (but let's get real, most players would use other routes with modded consoles or emulators to begin with).

@@fluttershy6420 yup, you should still be able to download it as long as that tiny portion of the 3DS and WiiU servers still works (just like how in Wii we can still download out stuff... At the time of this comment of course)

Yeah, you can but that cartridge is very expensive. Costs $350 on eBay just for the cartridge itself.

True, anyone who has the SP cart or bought the route before the Fates content removal deadline (which happened BEFORE the E-shop fully disabled the ability to buy stuff) can still play it without issues (and of course this EXCLUDES the obvious alternative of using emulators or that kind of stuff... if you know what i mean).

I think Fates is my n°1 favorite game in the Fire Emblem franchise, I grinded so much that I got all max level supports (with the exception of the S levels I reserved for specific characters) and all characters that joins me according to the version are at the maximum level (before and after using the item to give them the "advanced class").

What's funny is that with the Eshop being down for good, you can't even buy Rev anymore. So if you failed to get it, you have to get lucky with a cartridge or emulate it.
I haven’t bought it yet so I’m gonna try to get my copy out of storage before it’s gone for good.

Oh no, not the DLC where Azura lives in the end but Corrin just realized that he married his cousin because his mother told him and the Hoshido royal family that she and Azura’s mom are sisters which might be an attempt to break up Corrin X Azura and he ends up marrying either his underage step sister Sakura, his older step sister Hinoka, his horny foster sister Camilla, his older brother’s retainer Kagero, his older sister’s clumsy retainer Setsuna, a gold digger named Charlotte, his clumsy maid Felicia or Flora. I’m going to miss the interesting story of Corrin being an idiot as he leads his friends to another dimension by jumping to their deaths, letting Scarlett die in the dumbest way possible, be easily fooled by a kid whose a Troll in disguise, fight a one note evil dragon and become king of said dimension. Truly Revelations will be missed.
But I will miss Summer Scramble in Fire Emblem Awakening where Chrom, Cordelia, Gaius and Tharja all wear skimpy outfits because they’re the most popular romance options of the game. I did enjoy the off screen kisses between Robin and one of the four popular love interests. Especially the one where Male Robin made out with Cordelia which a lot of fans thought that he got her pregnant with Severa afterwards.
Rev bros, soon we can pester him to do Fell Xenologue and annoy him that way =)
