I don't understand how Chael is ranked 9th at MW, he hasn't lost a non title fight to anyone since Demian Maia Febuary of 2009. He is 6-0 in non-title fights. The title fights he lost, it isn't like he is going against machida, or shogun for titles, he went vs the best ever in Anderson and almost beat him in the first, and had a great 1st round in the 2nd. He lost to jon jones, The future best ever.

I like this kid! I watched the fight and the post fight interviews. He's a true fighter. He looks the part. He talks the part. He sucked it up when he obviously had a serious injury and made the necessary adjustments to come out on top. The fact that he regarded a decision victory as being on par with a loss probably gave Dana White a minor erection. Lol! Get well fast, Conor.

dude even if he wasn't out he still was getting hit in the face and not covering up, at least when travis was pinned against the cage he was actually making an effort to get back up while covering his face, travis was beating overeems head off the mat with no attempt to defend so it was stopped cuz a few more punches overeem would be dealing with a massive headache today

I dont think he is. He said in an interview once not too long ago how he was just happy to be in the ufc and not too fussed about fighting for the title.

It's annoying how sloppy Shogun gets sometimes. Sonnen had already threatened with a guillotine early in the round. That's how escaped from the bottom position earlier on. What does he do? Stick his neck out no wrist control, no nothing and gets guillotined. Bloody hell

Shogun is done. If you look at the way he was in 2005 and the way he is now he is not even a shell of a shell of his former self.
lets not jump to conclusions that fight could've been stopped by overeem before the knockout but it wasnt. definitely needs to get his head straight though
