    You forgot to mention that you can tell the speakers on the stand that you are pairing them with the ekx sub or to set a cut of frequency.

    What 'volume' or DB do you set the mains and subs on when you have a live band situation? Of course you control the overall sound from the mixer, but for default volume, what would you set those mains, subs as well as the monitors? We are thinking of getting those exact speakers, and just wondering because I've seen tons of vids on the basics, but none suggest an operating volume level (which they display as +DB I think)

    Does it save the settings itself or do you have to save it?

    Thanks for the video, how did you connect the sub to the top speakers and the monitors. Did you also use a snake board? if you did, kindly illustrate how these were done. Thank you

    What speaker should I buy for indoor where we have say 15+ people max. I want to do live music (couple of vocals , a karaoke track , or couple of instruments) using my analog mixer and sending the sound output to this speaker.

    With your subs set that way, do you get a lot of rumbling/ low end on stage?
    I have these same subs I usually use for DJ in cardioid mode. Considering running sound for a local band and trying to find the best way to use my subs for live band.
    Your advice is appreciated. Thanks.

    Are you not using a mixing board?

    • @djjermusic
      @djjermusic  8 лет назад +2

      Chris DeClerk yes it is just off to the side. the presets in the speakers take care of many headaches for us though. we still fine tune with the mixer. is that why you are asking?

    Which mixers do you recommend for use with these speakers??

    Did you record this with a potato?

  • @mattvdh

    How do you connect them all together though? How many mixers do you have?

    • @djjermusic
      @djjermusic  7 лет назад

      Matt van den Ham great question. So the "house sound" can all be daisy chained and then the monitors if they want them individually mixed needs to run from the mixer aux output. You can run all of this from one board.
