It's my favourite low alcohol beer. I've had to go on medication recently, so have had to cut right down on alcohol ( not that it's dangerous to mix....it just means the medication doesn't work). I believe it's brewed in Sweden!!!
This is my favourite low alcohol beer and trust me I have tried nearly everything on the market. What I like is that it is as you say “ale like” I never drink lager as I find the clean taste a little bland. To me this Brooklyn has loads of flavour. I will however give the M&S one a try. Thanks again for your videos, I really appreciate the effort you put into them.
I am not familiar with this Brooklyn brew but do know Brooklyn beer is commonly found in most areas in the north eastern part of the United States where I resided 62 years. I relocated to South Carolina and could still get Brooklyn beer until the pandemic. Now can't be found anywhere near here. I was very fond of the Brooklyn Lager. My neighbors from NY will be visiting soon and I will ask them to being me some Brooklyn brews. Great work on your reviews. Only problem is they make me want to drink beer more than i already do.
I got into alcohol free from going to music gigs and driving. I just can’t be doing with pump pop which is just so sickly to me now. Aside from some very good niche ipa’s I’ve had, Brooklyn is one of the better ones that some places stock. The thing I’ve really noticed is how quick the less well done ones descend into a bready taste profile as soon as they move away from ice cold.
Great review. My favourite non alc beer. I agree that it feels more like an ale than a lager. Recently this has been £4.50 for 4 bottles in both Waitrose and Co-op. I must try the M&S beer!
Strong flavours in this one but too much sugar in it. Have you tried Lucky Saint unfiltered lager? That’s at 0.5% and comes in a 4 pack from Tesco or Sainsbury’s.
Brooklyn Brewery is still independent Si. The Carlsberg Group has had an agreement with them since 2016 to distribute its beers in the UK, Europe and Hong Kong. Will give this a miss but might try the M&S Hepworth lager 👍
This is one of my favourites, I also recommend Stella

Fresh by Cloudwater is the best. My dog loves it.

Try and get hold of the Schneider Weisse AF TAP03, some real witchcraft going on with that one!

Hey Simon, can you do Clausthaler next? I'd be interested to see what you think? Another one of my favs, get it chilled down in the fridge first.
Thats on the channel alkready mate (Clausthaler)
@realaleguide thanks , I'll look it up, must have missed it!
This is by far the best non/low alcohol beer widely available, in UK shops. Great bitterness on the back end and not a hint of wort :)
Great review Simon 👍
My go-to low alcohol beer. I find it quite enjoyable.
I will be trying that M&S one although it's quite expensive compared to Special Effects..
Try Stella alcohol free! It's surprisingly good
Brewed in Holland no doubt
Strong flavours in this one but too much sugar in it.

Great review, please try INFINITE PALE ALE NA. Now 49p a can in home bargains!!

Pretty sure Carlsberg now brew the original Brooklyn Lager for the UK market - nowhere near as good.
@Lee-73they sure do, think they have done for a few years now.
The one brewed in Brooklyn is lovely, UK one is very bland.
Special effects? gonna start tripping after dinner!! Hold on tight mate.. 😂
Think you're looking a bit slimmer Si, must be some upside to these low alcohol beers.
What’s the sugar content on this one, as many of the others are very high in sugar (not all).
Very high this one if not the highest, it’s 2.9g per 100ml.
It’s why I have not got any more despite it being flavoursome.
Do Lidl have a new madri rip off
Yes
It looks like they've stopped selling Victoria Malaga which I am not happy about! What is the new Madri clone?
@@WillyJuniorSabor
Yes, I must try it, hopefully it's brewed in Span....
@@tomwilliams7391 Yes it is according to the can.
