I totally agree with your thoughts on the broken items and our USPS small businesses battle it is a tough situation and unfortunately one that happens to me personally alot I am always saying how violent my postal folks are. Well packaged things come broken frequently so km all for keeping documenting and helping the small Businesses I purchase from but I always refuse a refund or replacement if possible of course most of them send it out anyway because small Businesses are awesome to their customers. There’s also another issue with USPS and small business owners and that’s when you never receive the package. I’ve ordered from three different businesses and tracking didn’t help. I tried filing a lost item with USPS and was basically told this is the last place it was scanned and contact us if you receive it. So I took the loss because I can’t see hurting the shop owners over it. One business did send it UPS for the same price, so I don’t know what the solution is, but this is terrible. It didn’t used to be like this. I’m so sad about it and will not order again from anywhere until I can find a better way.
It looks like it was a small rock right at the edge of the windshield. And now my claim isn't coming up with the insurance company, so I have to spend extra time sorting that out tomorrow. So frustrating!
I too have had a windshield mishap. Rock 🪨 made a crack last fall and we did a self repair. Ugly but doable. Last week I got another rock to the windshield during rush hour. Nice whole and spider webbing. I am going to have to replace it sooner than later. I hate those kinds of expenses. Nice message 🥰 We need to fill ourselves with what we love.
