1. Foundation of forgiveness. Heb 12:15, Matt 18:7, 2 Cor 11:29, 2 Cor 2:5, 10 - 11
2. An apparent junior is honoured/chosen before you
3. When you feel disrespected
- When Pastors don't do well
Be careful when you feel cheated
6. When other Pastors are loved by the Senior Pastor, fellowship Pastors get offended. Gen 37:4
7. Pastors get offended when other Pastors are gifted. Gen 37:5
8. When other Pastors are promoted. Mark 15:10 Be HEALED in Jesus' name!
9. Leaders and Pastors get offended because of racism, tribalism and nepotism. John 8:48 Be HEALED in Jesus' name!
10. When Pastors go through difficult times. Mark 4:17
11. When people are corrected. Matt 15:7-8, 11-12. Correction is by its nature offensive. You can't chastise without causing pain. You've got to SELF-HEAL! Forgive yourself! Rom 5:1 #PeaceWithGod Rejection can lead to sexual sin. You HAVE to HEAL! Be ROOTED in forgiveness!!
12. When other Pastors are honored, people get offended. Mark 14:1
13. Pastors get offended for no reason. John 15:25
