I know mona might have been A and send out threatening text messages and mysterious presents to the girls and their parents, but at the end of season 2 she mentioned why she did it its because these 4 girls allowed Alison to bully her. And Hanna was meant to be her best freind she should have stood up for mona and actually kind of told Alison if mona could join the group.
If you look at season 2 ep 13, and the first episode flashbacks mona was actually sweet and actually called Alison and aria but they purposely ignored her. Aria god, I liked her from the start but later I got annoyed at her to why she is so naive dating a teacher allowing her queen bee freind to bully others. To be honest these liars were bullies just like the mothers of the new liars from millwood, orginal sin.
The ones in millwood allowed davie to bully Angela.
And these four girls allowed Alison to bully mona.
Angela committed suicide
But mona commited a crime but she ended up in a psychiatric hospital, which makes me wonder after watching the new pretty little liars series. If mona actually ever met Angela's mom Rose waters. Because when imogen and tabby came to rosewood to Radley hotel to find out about what happened to patients at radely after it closed down, the guy who worked in Radley from when it was hospital to hotel, mentioned Rose stayed in Radley until it closed down. In which he assumed that she moved back millwood.
Angela and mona had a similar experience with bullies, but one ended her life the other took revenge
