One of my favorite things about PLL is that the characters actually DO school related stuff, like homework, clubs and learning. In most teen shows, the school is just a backdrop for the teens to socialize in, kinda like a mall.
Hahaha Riverdale is like this. And suddenly in their senior year they get accepted to places like Yale even though you never see them study

Everyone's wondering how mona won. It is a possibility that Toby gave her the answers, but remember what she was like before Alison inspired her to change? She would always read and she has stated multiple times she is deceivingly smart. I think its possible mona actually knew the answers, she's surprisingly capable.
Mona is just really really highly intelligent
Don't get me wrong, Spencer is incredibly smart, but Mona is a genius. No one (not even in PLL The Perfectionists) can possibly be as half as smart as Mona is.

I think that too. Remember that Spencer's cards went missing or something in the end of the scene when Toby was helping Spencer study? Also, since he helped her study she could have forgotten some countries or her cards could have been changed and Spencer was studying off the incorrect answer all along and that's why she missed some countries. I think Toby played a part in Spencer losing.
Can't argue with that one. :) I love Mona. She was the best A hands down.
But why would Toby help Mona I know in this time they were both in A team but apparently only reason for that was for him to protect Spencer why would he help Mona

This is by far my most favorite scene! 🙂🙂 I love them both tho Spencer was a bit cocky. Mona is a smart Rosewood girl not to mention the universities she got into as a scholar.

Nah. Spencer is smarter. It is scary if she becomes A because she is both book and street smart and driven. Spencer lost because she has other things in her mind that put her in so much pressure and Mona knows it and used it against her.
The only reason Mona or the other As outsmart Spencer is because they have everything to put Spencer on the back seat. Come on now! Why do think Mona and other As wanted Spencer on their team or out for good?
Even the other girls are smarter than Mona in a way. They are not just as focus. Admit it, almost all the bad decisions they make is because of A forcing them to do. Mona's bad decisions are all hers. Mona starts the game yet it always get stolen from her somewhere in between. 😂

@@thisism5546 She knew the answers because of toby; it was implied in the show that he gave her Spencer's cards. It was never implied that she "knew the answers already" like maybe get some evidence to back up your claims if you're going to call other people stupid. I think that their intelligence levels are somewhat similar, even if Mona is ahead in some areas, but it's really really dumb of you to base being "way smarter and way more intelligent" on one person's opinion (especially since it's Charlotte who failed to cover her tracks a bunch of times)
