I just played this game for the first time and it’s extremely fun and definitely good for fans of the series. I can’t understand a word but the roster has just about everyone from the main series playable. I absolutely adore this opening and I don’t think anything has generated as much hype in me as Keiichi and Satoshi facing off with the iconic bats

Even after all this time I feel the lack of acessibility to this game is upsetting. Hopefully one day at least when the definitive VNs get all released.

In fact, this game is amazing, but not quite at American standards. Yes it's fun and replayable, but bots get boring afte a while, and there isn't much to do after the story is done. No achievements or super secret unlocks. But it has enough for Higurashi fans.
(also, this one isn't based off of Rei. It is it's own story with multiple [funny] endings.)

No, it doesn't. You're thinking of Higurashi Daybreak. This is Higurashi Daybreak MEGA EDITION. It has a completely different story, and even multiple endings.

@@MatiasBelo She's only present in console VN arcs and not in the main story, isn't really a spinoff but more to alternate stories of the series. You can play those arcs in PC and English by using 07th Mod.
