My theory about the Lunyshko building a ton of T1 radars when the spider was knocking on his base: I've seen that before in high-level play, drop a bunch of cheap T1 radars so it appears you have a fair amount of T1 PD waiting. (Both show up as generic white blocks on radar until visually scouted.) And it seemed to work, KrYak hesitated slightly before rushing into the base which gave Lunyshko time to manuever the chickens.
Hey there - the reason so many people prefer the original Supreme commander, is 2 fold... 1) SupCom2 was developed for console players, which meant a lot of the game mechanics, including unit numbers, had to be changed. Most players felt the game was too different from the original - hence stuck with it. 2) there's a very active and dedicated set of community members, who oversee the upkeep, balancing, server side as well as bug fixes etc - this is known as Forged Alliance Forever, or simply FAF. There's also a million mods and maps, including map generator over there, all which add much to the game, according to taste. Forged Alliance was the expansion to Supreme Commander, and is what we all play with at FAF. And thank you for your kind comments elsewhere. Speaking as a caster, I also like the freedom to control the camera and team views etc during replays
I find this map to be an APM overload. So much so that you're fighting against the game mechanics as much as you're fighting against your opponent. It takes really strong play to play as well as the 2 players did in this video.
That's a very interesting point of view, I never considered "fighting APM" as being different, but it really is - some people call "time" a third resource in SupCom, and I always thought they meant that in the sense of "the more time you hold mex = more profit" But I'm starting to think that means APM at the keyboard and mouse, just as much as time dominating the battlespace
Thanks so much for casting this it was so good to watch.
Played SC back in the day with my dad and getting back into it with FAF
Much more fun when the caster doesn't know what comes next !
I'll mention this briefly next cast, if it don't slip through the sieve that I claim to be a brain.
Glad you're feeling better - great game, thanks for casting.
Such a nice game and great sportsmanship thanks for casting
Awesome game. Thanks to both players and the caster!
+1
The players really made this one easy for me, thanks to them!
I keep coming back to this game as a kid that grew into it. Stunning game, thank you for the great casting!
Feel so bad for the ending 😥 but really well played from both

Love the vibe & sportmanship!
Well played
That split layout is cool! Haven't seen that in a game before, at least, I don't remember seeing it.
I really like the format of this video .. how you can show both sides AND the map. Most replays just zoom around with 1 camera.
good cast and I wish you health
All he had to do is send the soul ripper to attack the ACU. Under pressure, stress, and the unknown. Remember they have shroud, we don't.
38:27 i love that overcharge has tracking but what the hell was that
solid game
Wait, "he lobbed it", do sup com players also use lobster/lob as an insult?
Do you mind explaining the reason I see so many Supreme Commander players instead of seeing everyone moving to Supreme Commander 2?

The ending was painful, but otherwise, lovely game. So much is happening.
damn, these pros can play
im downright geriatric compared to these guys
haha! - that's why I just cast em :D
lol sera OC so bugged
Как бы банана не атаковал ALTF4, он все равно большую часть игры лидировал по эко. Я просто в шоке.
He was, I really enjoyed the play from both players - great game.
