Hi everyone! Enemies of Bloodborne is a patreon only series ,you can find 40+ episodes here www.patreon.com/SinclairLore at the $2 tier. (However, the best episodes are on RUclips.) So I noticed that patrons who saw all episodes, have been praising some episodes a bit too much. So I asked patrons if they thought some of the episodes they saw were too good for patron. The answer was yes. And they basically gave me a list of episodes they think should be on youtube. And I asked regulars which episodes people who are not on patreon would like to see. And I cross referenced those things, and that is why I’m posting some more Patreon-only things on youtube :) There will be about 15 out of 40+ that will be public, the rest will be on Patreon. Great episode (as always) but I've kinda interpreted few things a little diffrently than you guys did, so I guess I might as well point them out. 1) imo, the "Old Lords" are the Great Ones, not the Pthumerians. Bone Ash set (the one Keepers of the Old Lords wear) mentions "The keepers, who mind the slumbering great Ones, gained eternal life (...)". 2) I've always seen "Pthumerian Civil War" as a schism between Traditionalists (Pthumerians which wanted to stay as near-mindless servants of the Great Ones, with Elders as their leaders) and Royalists (Pthumerians who "felt entitled to name themselves a leader", with Pthumerian Descendants and a Queen as their leaders). 3) Watchdog is categorized as Beast by the game (it suffers more damage from Serrated weapons and Beasthunter gems), but clearly never was a human/pthumerian itself. It also doesn't seem that much bloodthirsty (at least to me).

ok ok ok if the watchdogs are the some of oldest things in the labarynth, presumingly alongside the keepers, i'd hazard that they're actually watchers/keepers of the great ones themselves rather than for merely the (fellow?) pthumerians
Thought i had . Dark beasts (the final "evolution" ) of the beasthood descent, deal bolt damage with is highly effective against ALMOST all great ones... Maybe after the abhorrent beast stage you become something so bloodthirsty you pose a threat to the great ones(you cant become any MORE insane so maybe you descend into a primal godlike creature) ...The great ones infused pthumaru swordsmen including DOGGO with fire in order to protect their tomb. fire is HIGHLY effective against beasts, so maybe the beast plague infected the pthumaru city long ago and the great ones made a contract sealed in fire; imortality in exchange for their eternal servitude as a guardian , or hunter... [Those snake corpses in the dungeons are also in the fishing hamlet maybe those were a type of kin?] love the vid guys!
The Alicia Keys reference went over his head or he was annoyed, I m just about half way through the chalice dungeons and stumbled on to this podcast. hilarious chemistry btw y’all two

Went from hating the Watchdog (because of the defiled dungeon) to actually liking'm after the birthday story to hating it once more with a passion after it destroyed the cake and burned down the house. Thanks again, Richie and Sin.
While other fire-casting Beasts can be interpreted as pthumerian mages who mutated due to the Scourge, this creature is pecularly uncanny: maybe it was created early on along with the cut Fire Demons and Burned Corpses to fit a design of the dungeon closer to that seen in DS3 with the Catacombs on top (the unused Skeleton Warrior of BB was clearly repurposed for the following game) and hell-themed caves below. Watchdog also shares the same Dragon God-like features of the Great One Beast (which can kinda be seen as its lightning counterpart) in its eyes, fangs and claws.
So what did we learn in What Where Why: Enemies of Bloodborne, Episode 16: the Watchdog of the Old Lords, everyone? We learnt that Martyr Logarious actually means Drama Queen Logarious

The watch dog of the old lords is basically Guts Beast of Darkness from Berserk
