The musical soundtrack in this movie was spot on! Fit in perfectly with the story and the tension and mood of what they are doing. Like this one skydiving through a storm its ominous and scary.
I don’t want to be that guy I’m just a big comic book nerd, but I imagine this scene with Batman and Nightwing jumping out of a place to the league of assasins monastery with this music playing in a Red Hood story. Even a suicide squad but with his would work with the tone being similar to the very first trailer.
That the HALO jump was a real HALO done in one take, in real life was incredible. That it was ruined by using CGI to swap day for night, and to replace a field with the Parisian landscape was hilarious.
Hearing this makes me say that Marvel made the right choice replacing Alexandre Desplat with Lorne Balfe as composer for Black Widow. The intensity of Balfe's music mixed with Romanoff's gun violence makes a leathal combo for a movie that: A) Should've come out during the summer if COVID-19 never happened. B) Has Marvel break away from the superhero genre for a Russian Spy Thriller, because that's what the trailers portrayed the movie as.
"Open your shoot when the system says, not before and definitely not after, or the last thing that will go through your mind is your kneecaps."
One of the best scenes in the movie

My favourite part is that almost indignant flair at the end, like Ethan's thinking "of course he gets the easy landing..."

Not the best M:I movie, but definitely the best and most heart-pounding music out of the entire series.
