Love me some good old Louisiana bluesy soulful music. He comes from good stock though. His pops is a Hall of Famer guitarist who I believe plays with him also.
I've been listening to Marc for about 20 years now, and seen him play live many times - he's the real freaking deal. One of the best singers on the planet and a gifted musician/performer. I wish you could see him and his old band live, he just has so much swagger on stage.
Another great song from this same album ‘Carencro’ is The Beauty of Who You Are, also Gavin’s Song is a beautiful bedtime song for a little one. It always brings tears to my eyes. I think he may have written it for his son. ♥️
