Gran Turismo was such a big part of my childhood. So hearing the intro for the first time in years, brings me chills cause it's so epic and relates to soooo many good memories of me trying to beat my older brother while using the Suzuki Escudo...
I used to get so mad as a kid when I couldn't pass the racing license tests. All the way from GT2 to GT4. Never played the first one and 5th game. I remember starting to become so good through the billions of tries just that I eventually passed with all gold trophies in each license. I remember in GT4 that I finished all the super hard driving tests (not the racing license ones, but the tests that involved like slip streaming cars to pass them, trying to catch up to the guy in first place that got a massive head start and etc.) and beat them all allowing me to win the Toyota 7 race car and the Jay Leno Tank car. I got incredibly angry that the game wouldn't let me race with the tank car because it was "special." I hated that in GT4 so much :( Most of my anger in games came from the Gran Turismo series lol. Never played it in years since I stopped playing GT4 where I even won the 24 hour races and such. I hated those but had to do it! I used the automatic driver feature that allowed you to even speed up the race. I won so many races wit the Formula 1 race car I won from the 24 hour race. That thing would kick the Le Mans prototype cars' asses by like countless laps haha. GT4 was still my favorite though. I also remember having hundreds of cars, a lot of them being the classic Dodge muscle cars with different colors haha.
I don't know about you guys, but GT3 will always be the best, in my opinion. I was always playing GT1 and GT2, until I remember going to a friends house...It my very first introduction to the new Playstation 2, and very first to this masterpiece of a game. Just seeing the intro to GT3 gave me goosebumps again, just like the very first time. Thank you for making this video and letting me re-live my childhood.

The Evolution mode from NFS Porsche and the 100+ circuits from NFS Shift 2 with the 700 cars from GranTurismo to play through the years, add to that the grid of 24 cars from the codemasters F1 series plus the dynamic weather/day-night cycles from the GTR/GTR2; that is a game I wouldn't mind pay over 100bucks
Um... you totally forgot about Dirt2, Dirt3. Imagine if they had ALL of that + all the awesome offroading from the Dirt series? Sorry, but DiRt is king to me. So much more interesting doing huge dirt jumps and stuff.

My dad still has his ps2 after almost 21 years never had a problem I've played tens of thousand of hours i grew up with gt 2 and 3 i started playing in 2012 when i was 3 and it still reads discs like a champ
Excellent, I never had GT1, I started out with GT2 and have been stuck with them ever since then. GT1 has better graphics back then than alot of new racing games today lol. Great video man.
I still have memory cards for GT3 with my drifting replays :D was the first game I started drifting in,I remember if you used standard tyres it was so much fun,that plus being able to tune the cars was a great combination.feeling very nostalgic right now :)
