- Jeez talk about a finale. Definitely filled the space of a proper closure after playing this mod for literal hours. Not the ending I expected though, but a crazy song nonetheless. There's so much happening the entire time.

The developers did an awesome work
If you consider the mods as one big canon, this gets to be an even more depressing ending. Outlasted Tricky, outplayed every Sonic.EXE, survived Tabi, survived Jason Voorhees, beat both the Ink and actual Devil, and even beat every other Mario.EXE... Only to lose everything in the end, and go down alone in an unwinnable fight against an abomination beyond every other.

Good ending idea: If you FC every song in the mod, you will get an "extra life" and when you go through all stars again, when BF gets impaled the life counter will go from 1 to 2 and there will be an extra part at the end of all stars and you get good ending :D (also an extra Pico song will open up and show whats going on with him. IDK what it would be though)

for those who dont know about/are upset about the sad ending, the devs have confirmed (via twitter) that the whole mod was all one big stage play as a reference to how smb3 was a play as well (which explains all the images during the credits)
and for people who liked the ending of the mod, you can simply interpret it as the real ending and ignore the whole play thing
I'm pretty sure that was just a theory.

This was definitely the best song in the whole mod, props to the team for making this beyond a masterpiece of a mod

To be honest, same. I don’t have anything against the protagonists, but their plot armor being surpassed like that is too impressive for me to be upset with the ending.
Act 2 has to be my most favorite part. Thats it, feel this is the most synchronized act I've ever heard.
Act two is my favourite too, especially the fourth act.

I find it cool how for the design for ultra m is based around Mario odyssey
I loved and also hated the ending, loved for the fact that all these god proclaimed entities like sonic.exe couldn't kill him as BF was just too good, but mario did as hes just on another level, hated in that fact that all that build up when to his death, i believe that good ending should exist but in this case should be worked for, like for example you had to basically go through a very very very hard song to earn the good ending, this is just my opinion on the matter
The good ending wouldn't even be hard.
BF just had to do Mario's third song instead of running after Starman Slaughter.

All stars. Triple trouble lacks the variation in art and events.

Let's be real: Triple Trouble was good in its prime for Sonic.exe's v2 update upon launch, and at the time, it was pretty good, still is even.
But now that All Stars is a thing with Mario's Madness v2, comparing this behemoth of a final song to Triple Trouble is basically a huge skyscraper overshadowing an already big tower.
Obviously, All Star seals Triple troubles fate unanimously, but both are just as good in their respective years.
I also would say All Stars is better, because in my opinion the artwork and the music is incredible.

Create a good ending to this game! Giving Ultra M the W is just proving that Mario.Exe chatacters are somehow stronger than Sonic.Exe characters, because BF would win in that one.
The "good ending" is if BF never ran in the first place.
All he had to do, was ONE. MORE. SONG. But NO, as it turns out, his fight-or-flight instincts kicked in.
Sonic.EXE had no "i'll let you live if you do xxxxxx".
