If you were in Astor you should have gone up to Rama ( 10000 ft) and Rama Lake ( 11000 ft). Beautiful alpine scenery with nice views of the other side of the Nanga Parbat Massif. There are two beautifully located rest houses which you could probably have reserved through the local Deputy Commissioner. There is also a very nice PTDC lodge at Rama.

I visited it in June 2022, it was so lush green n the Sheosar lake, omg, paradise on earth. Pakistan's so blessed in every way but the corruption has ruined it. Its a heaven for the bikers in the world ❤
