You should add Syr Konrad, the Grimm into the deck as a second wincon. Every time a creature enters or leaves the graveyard, it pings the opponent for 1 (ie. the Fiend Hunter loop will deal 3 to the opponent).
This reminds me of my Rusko deck with Paradox Engine in that its win condition is most often the opponent seeing what you're up to and leaving.
Yeah. I love playing Baral, except that it's boring as shit when I get roped on turn 2 for the twelfth time in a row.

@@piercearora7681 Yeah, there are just some commanders that people get really salty--Baral, Ragavan, and Fynn are all turn 1-2 that people tend to rope on sight.
I have a couple decks that get roped too--Rusko (with Paradox Engine, Thassa, Displacer Kitten and Tome of the Infinite), Geist of Saint Traft (voltron), Miirym (with Spark Double, Panharm, and Terror of the Peaks), and Prosper are a few that just piss people off.

508.3a An ability that reads “Whenever [a creature] attacks, . . .” triggers if that creature is declared as an attacker. Similarly, “Whenever [a creature] attacks [a player, planeswalker, or battle], . . .” triggers if that creature is declared as an attacker attacking that player or permanent. Such abilities won’t trigger if a creature is put onto the battlefield attacking.

Finally, someone explaining delayed triggers. Wish that my old group understood this with my Roon of the Hidden Realm deck. They didn't get that I could exile their stuff permanently by countering my own ability.
CGB missing menace on the doggo, dropping curses, and missing the combo triggers? This doesn't seem to be the way 😂. I really wish Arena did QoL things like stack the same triggers or small changes to cards so that they are functionally the same but are faster like they did with Blood Artist. They could give us a way to suppress a card until we want it to so it doesn't hold priority or a true skip turn, etc.

I built the combo where the goal was to reanimate storm herald and get lethal auras but it was more inconsistent since so much of the deck slots were devoted to random auras
Angel of Suffering and Cemetery Tampering are like the expensive substitutes for Hermit Druid for this deck

Both those losses were honestly pretty hilarious and incredible. Opponent sticking it out through a brutal Emrakul turn only to quickly build back up a board and top deck a Fiery Emancipation for the win. Other opponent hitting a perfect removal spell on a creature and also meanwhile stealing the crucial combo piece for K&K. You just can't script it. Top tier content yet again that you can only get from the superior format on Arena which is Historic Brawl.
All of these comments calling out the menace like the way he attacked was the biggest misplay that turn 😂

Tbh, the existence of this video actually upsets me. I built a Kroxa & Kunoros deck shortly after the MoM release with the intent on playing good, clean Magic. It seems like today, everyone is roping me, scooping, or GGing when they see Alter of Dementia on the field. It's not my intention to go infinite with it. I just got into Historic Brawl and this was the second deck that I made from scratch, so I feel like I lost a friend a little bit. I love the content CGB, but the showcase of "toxic" decks has a pretty big impact.

I did run into a Kroxa Kunoros deck once. But as the only thing I play in HellQ is Baral, I did just fine. Can't do anything if you can't resolve Mr Kroxa.

I built this day one, the problem with the combo isn’t so much that it takes a long time, but that you have to be careful not to put kroxa and kunoros back into the command zone while clicking through all of the triggers.
Damnit! I’ve been having a blast with this commander as a good stuff legends deck…
I've been tinkering with a voltron combo with Storm Herald and All That Gliters etc. Usually much quicker.

FYI your explanation at the beginning for why the Kroxa and Kunoros ETB doesn't immediately target is a bit off. The reason is specifically because the ETB trigger doesn't return a targeted creature from your graveyard to the battlefield, but rather creates a second trigger that targets a creature to return. And while the period is important for creating the second trigger, as you pointed out, the most important part is the phrase "When you do". "When" only appears in Magic cards when it's creating a triggered ability (similarly to "whenever" and "at the [certain instance in time]"), so the word "when" appearing halfway through the card shows that there is a second triggered ability. And since the targeting happens in this second trigger, this whole combo works.
