thank you for the decklist, i have uta but just the structure deck, im planning on getting the playset of nami, but kid is too expensive for my budget, is there anything to replace it? (also mihak, i could get it but if it needs kid then i probably wont)
The deck is still really good and you definitely need the Nami’s but the kid’s you can go without having in this meta since there is so much removal. If you’re able to throw in the 10 drop Doflamingo that’s a good alternative. Also the 9 drop Zoro scr is a good game ended as well.
Utas player decklist are mostly similar, I won a local with a similar deck but with 2 zoro less and put Hody Jones forna spicy spot, if Kid/blocker still at board, I can call him to rest and going for the game if I don't have enough I'm invincible, keep waiting for a event that give +3k like other colors
I think it is. It’s extremely good in a more aggressive build that doesn’t revolve around protecting captain kid. I used to play him but cut him for two extra blockers to protect the kid.

My friend is telling me it’s a good option to play but you just have to play differently and not take the early hits. Idk I like the deck currently how it sits but if B/Y Luffy is being played a lot more I might throw it in just for that matchup.
I play the exact deck list, but i just cant seem to win consistently vs Moria. My usual local place is super sweaty and its filled with top32 regional players, I find it really hard to get 1st in the local :/ im just bad ig
I usually beat Moria but don’t get me wrong it’s a tough matchup and it’s usually really close but in that matchup you need to mulligan for brooks and luffy’s to overwhelm the board and pressure them in the late game.
I like having 4 kids just cause I want to maximize my chances of seeing it opening hand since throughout the game I’m bottom decking a lot of cards. For what matchups do you like Hody for?
Just a simple question, you said you DON'T play usoop and zoro, but if you don't get brook or nami, or you get brook but nothing to play along with him, or you get Luffy but you only have Zoro in your hand. Do you still not play them in those scenarios?
I do play them but it’s rare. I try and mulligan for cards that give me value on play since there is a lot of removal in the format but definitely playing Luffy into 4 drop Zoro is an ok play in certain matchups.
It’s a tough match up but if you’re able to see your brook’s and Luffy’s it makes the match up way better in your favor because now they have to invest more resources to try and clear your board but usually I try to play back to back Luffy’s which is usually enough to stabilize the game in your favor.
Word of advice from somebody that's been playing Uta Non-stop sense release. drop 1 black light and all 4 usopp and pick up 1 I'm invincible 2 more mihawk and 2 more 2 drop film blocker thank me later 😎

I'm an Uta's simp player. Keep in mind that Uta's player need to be carefully for Film's searching. All lost with Uta mostly because they search a lot and bottom all non-film like Kid. The only way is having a fast response for Kid drop, for many colors there are many event or char that can ko kid directly without battling him. Don't rush to Life, generally Uta want to have many cards as soon as possible to prepare the Kid+ blocker, if you can be able to control the board by ko nami and the blocker. Remember that Uta is dangerous for multiple attack in same turn, even if you have a blocker she doesn't care.
Removing my Nami searcher as quick as possible and having an answer for my 8 drop kid in the late game. Also out countering early hits would probably be a good strategy as well.

Hody Jones? That’s spicy! I just like to keep my non film card ratio super low for the consistency of the leader effect.

Thoughts on 9c Zoro? I have it against Yellow but I am finding it difficult at times to play out.

3 kid and 2 Zoro is fine. I personally wanted to try that ratio out but I’ve been having a lot of success with 4 kid’s so that’s why I haven’t.

Yes, as long as he is sideways with a don under him your opponent has to attack into him.

You could play x4 10 drop Doflamingo instead or play a combination of Doffy and 9 drop Zoro.
