I still love horses, i have a special place in my heart for these beautiful horses, i find them to be wonderful, and when they're running, neighing, it's almost like they're sort of, human.
in the years that have passed, don't you think Caesar's mane would have grown out? btw people, the horse that played Caesar, his name is Fat Albert in real life and the mare that played Lucky's mom is named Kateefa thanks to IMDB
@tubedebby 2. in constant growing till their mid teens, then they simply get consumed. i have no idea of how a horse over his 20's can manage eating. probably cooked and crushed oats and barley. anyway, geat glad ur horses live mUch. keep riding!
Actually at the end of the film it is only 12 years later so that would actually make the boy in his early to middle twenties. Lucky would be around ten to fifteen years old which is still quite young for a horse since they can live well into their forties
@tubedebby actually horses can live well into there 20's and 30's if well taken care of. There are a pair of horses on an old dairy farm down the road from my parents house, The last time I saw someone riding them I asked how old they were and she said that one was 32 and the other was 28 and that was several years ago already. I see them out grazing in the field whenever I go by so that would make the one at least in its late 30's by now.
@TheStewartFamily5 then tell ur trainer to put him in the guinnes book of world records, as the oldest throughbred horse lived to be 42. he was chestnut gelding Tango Duke (foaled 1935), owned by Carmen J. Koper o af Barongarook, Victoria, Australia. The horse died on January 25, 1978. probably he was a racehorse that got injured when he was a colt and spent therest of his days grazing in the field. same as in the world book of records the oldest winning horse was 18
@tubedebby Also there were horses in the barn that I used to ride in that were in there middle to late 20's so I don't know where you are getting your info but horses can live betond 18 years of age.
@TheStewartFamily5 1. i'm not fighting either. perhaps ur barn doesn't have strictly bred horses as we have. we haven't had a horse that lived more than 20, and most of them were balcan champions in showjumping or less national champions. if at ur riding school they give lessons on riding, they should start with horse evolution, sicknesses, life span and their life in the wild. horses in the wild don't live over their teens. a horse's teeth wear out as they are
I don't know about this fight... Ceaser is a bigger horse; bigger hooves, larger body frame, more muscle (?) and Lucky is a light breed of horse meaning he'd be more agile....right?
@TheStewartFamily5 probably ponies... eventing horses die at 18 - 20, they simply break down. ponies or these small tough american breeds perhaps could possibly reach eleder age but i highly doubt that any horse can be ridden after 20 - 25. the heart wears out with age as any other muscle. at least our sport horses don't. Lol it would've been wonderful if any showjumping horse could actually have such a long life span!!! more time to perfection, more contests, more time for healing. lol
my mare arab x and this is wat i have to put up with to b near my kids if she near themshe thinks they r hers love her though trust her with my kids good girl xxx
@@dennisdrozdov1424 Caesar was for a very long time hostile to wild horses. Good thing Lucky finally had justice for his mother by defeating her killer.
I think the real question is, when you take into account the fact that the little boy has grown up to be in his mid 30's here, why is Lucky not old and gray? Lol.
Ah yeah, I forgot they could live that long..but that's domesticated, isn't it? I figure a wild horse would have more dangerous things to survive through. I mean, if my mom's horses are any indication, having a vet to help care for them def helps xD [tho mostly cos one of them is prone to colic :| ]

love the narrator. he did a great job.
All horses in this film are just beautiful. man, I'd love to have a horse.
in the years that have passed, don't you think Caesar's mane would have grown out?

thanks to IMDB
pretty epic that they let two stallions really go at it. Thats how a horse movie should be! Epic win for the arabian!
"Lucky" and he´s mom is so beutiful !! :D
Lucky and beauty are together
i find it amusing that Caesar is the only of his breed in the stable, and his daughter doesn't even resemble him. xD but its a good movie!

BLACK BEAUTY AND GINGER
(face markings might not me the same on lucky but still ^_^)
@PissyCatStallion they probably trained them, but I'm convinced Ceaser is a Friesan, an absolutely beautiful Friesan
I wonder how they got the fight scene? That stallion fight was the real thing. No special effects or anything. O_O

did he come back!!!omg
On the end of the movie is it standing :D
if it had been years since Lucky came back, wouldn't Ceasar's mane be longer?
and way to go Lucky for kicking Ceasar's ass and biting him too

looks a bit too real for me :P the fight

@icefirespyro he actually MOVES?
Even if Ceaser was mean I felt sorry for him he was old :(
ceaser got eaten by an oryx xD

i like ceasar hes so pretty - just not the part he plays in the movie... what am I talking about all horses are pretty =P
@airbear2482
they live approx 18 years (horses)
when u find a horse alive in his 40s please do let me know
@TheStewartFamily5 probably ponies...

@TEHFUZZEHONEZ who says? size doesn't always necessarily mean strength. besides, like they said, he was old & lucky was the strong one now.
my mare arab x and this is wat i have to put up with to b near my kids if she near themshe thinks they r hers love her though trust her with my kids good girl xxx
idk about frisaian but all my horses mane and tail normaly grow to a certain length then stop but it might be diffrent with frisians

Yes, but remember, he assaulted Lucky's mother, and later she died:(
@@dennisdrozdov1424 Caesar was for a very long time hostile to wild horses. Good thing Lucky finally had justice for his mother by defeating her killer.
