@@laurentiumocacoca175 see i am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on the g2 bias but hating a player for losing motivation is just crazy imo. just imagine you totally unexpectedly get the highest honour people usually strive years for to get, and get so close so often but fail at the last hurdle, just in your hands on your first proper attempt (no hate to apeks last year but that team with those players wasnt winning the major). if success comes too easily or way faster than you had expected it to come, the satisfaction of actually getting that reward is way, way smaller than you would want it to be. he probably has imposter syndrome to a certain degree too, because he knows he was not the best player that tournament but he was the most valuable player to show up and have impact in a team that played good enough to make it all the way. the pressure to perform on the same level drags you down as well, and sure he has a sports psychologist to aid him, but these guys set such high standards for themselves that it might very well drag them down. just a painfully tonedeaf remark by yanko in my opinion

We all think about S1mple, Electronic and their whole history of competing for titles at every tournament when we say NaVI, but let's not forget that 3 players are actually coming from tier 2/3 (iM, jL and Wonderful). You can make a case that Wonderful played some tier1 at Spirit some time ago, but it isn't the case cuz he played more tier 2 and only a few tier 1 events like 3 years ago. AleksiB is a good prospect as IGL, but still wasn't proven until NaVi. I think that the next season is going to be a make or break deal for Navi, not for the whole roster, but for some players. The motivation is expected to go down, but not forever. We need a balance because jL and the other guys are paid tier1 money, not tier 2/3 money with potential to tier1 money, so that's why they need to step up. Even though, this season is more than sufficient for them.

Let's forget how Liquid looked with Cadian and he looked awful with the most important gun of the game. He was missing sitters, was running with his knife in front of ennemies, looked totally lost on the server. I'm not sold on the decision, but Liquid failed to qualify to the RMR and looked like a pug. Even if yekindar has a bad slum, he is still a decent entry. People tend to forget liquid was filling of passive players and he was the only one who had initiatives.
